A Message to High School Parents
Dear Parents,
We are thrilled to share the wonderful progress of our Performing Arts Program! This week, our talented Drama team captivated the school with their One-Act production of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Their hard work and creativity truly shone through, and we can’t wait for the public performances next week.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 18th, at 7:00 PM, and Saturday, October 19th, with a matinee at 2:00 PM followed by an evening performance at 7:00 PM. Your support means the world to our students, so we hope to see many of you there!
Congratulations are also in order for our Marching Band! They brought home the Class A Championship title at the Central of Carrollton Superbowl of Sound Marching Band Competition last weekend. We are incredibly proud of our Marching Lions for their outstanding achievement!
This week is bustling with activities at the high school. Monday is picture retake day, and our 9th graders will be taking the PSAT. On Wednesday and Saturday, our volleyball team will host a first-round state playoff match, while our softball team will have playoff games on Friday.
Additionally, don't miss the annual Fall Festival hosted by Trinity Christian Church on Sunday, October 20th, at 4:30 PM. It promises to be a wonderful time for our community!
Thank you for your unwavering support of Trinity Christian School and our mission to provide a quality Christian education.
Best regards,
Blake Bass
Assistant Head of School
Interim High School Principal

Be mindful that the form must be filled out 5 days minimum before the student is absent.
Class Collaboration
Students in Kayla Freund’s Sports Psychology class are currently studying Commitment to Excellence and what that looks like in relation to sports. Students created presentations outlining eight common tips that may drive an athlete closer to their athletic goals and how they, as athletes, could apply these tips to their own athletic endeavors.
The class then partnered with Reed Shackelford’s Chick-fil-A Leadership class and hosted a symposium. The Chick-fil-A Leadership class walked around, listened to the Sports Psychology students’ presentations, and asked them questions about excellence, success, failure, and how they were all related.
What a great collaboration between classes!
Academic Matters
Remember that communication is key! If a student has questions about a particular class, they are encouraged to reach out to their teacher and find a time to meet. We want to partner with families to ensure the success of each student.
Need some help with one of your classes? Thursday morning tutoring may be a great option for you! The TCS Beta Club and National Honor Society members are available to provide tutoring in academic subjects. Tutoring sessions will take place in Room 501 on Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:10 a.m. TCS students should use this form to register for a session. To confirm attendance for the Thursday morning tutoring session, students must complete the form by Wednesday each week.
