Rejoice!

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. Psalm 5:11

Can you believe it?!  We have one week of school under our belts for this semester.  What a privilege it is to have our students on campus! We count it as a true blessing to begin the year with on-campus learning, even with all of the adjustments and accommodations we are having to make. It's been a great first week!

drop-off video

The following video provides details for the new drop-off procedures for the High School.

Details for Dismissal

Please take time to review this video.  The High School does not begin to dismiss from class until 3:30pm daily. You should not plan to arrive on campus until 3:35. Please note that there is ONE route to follow for picking up ALL high school students.  If you have already picked up a student at the Lower, Upper, or Middle Schools, you will follow this same route around the baseball field to the designated area to pick up your high school student.  Please do not wait in front of the high school building. The press box lot should not be utilized for picking up students. These areas are not options as it backs up the established traffic flow pattern and prevents those who are trying to leave from the campus in a timely fashion. This video clearly shows the designated route which we are confident will allow us to have a smooth dismissal as we start back to school.

Dress Code Reminders and Updates

Masks should be any solid color, and free of markings, insignias, and designs unless it is a mask with the Trinity logo. Final authority on the appropriateness of all face coverings resides with the administration.

Shirts

  • Any collared, buttoned-down dress or polo shirt (solid, striped, plaid, checkered but not camouflage, or sheer). Shirts must be appropriately sized and neat in appearance. Students may be asked to tuck in their shirts if their appearance is sloppy. Oversized shirts are not permitted. NO graphics.

  • White, neutral or matching undershirts, or turtleneck shirts may be worn under a polo shirt or button-down shirt.

  • Button-down shirts must be buttoned up when worn.

Pants, Shorts, Capris, Skirts

  • Khaki, black, gray, or navy blue Docker-style pants, shorts, and capris (girls only) – non-stretch cotton or cotton-twill only – with fly front. They must be tailored (not too large or too small) with proper hem. No sagging pants (a belt should be used to prevent sagging). No fraying or torn look; no carpenters, cargos, rivets, joggers or ankle bunching. Shorts must have an inseam of 4 or more inches and be modest looking. No swim style shorts or athletic shorts are allowed.

  • Khaki, black, gray, purple plaid or navy blue pleated, straight, or A-line skirts – non-stretch cotton or cotton-twill only. Skirts may be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.

  • We require a chino style pant which is a 95-97% cotton twill type trouser that contains 3% or less spandex or other stretch fabric.

Approved Outerwear

  • All outerwear (sweatshirts, hoodies, fleece jackets, and pullovers) must be TCS spirit wear purchased through the school store. Previously purchased outerwear through Coweta Sports is permitted. Note: Personal items that are monogrammed with a “T” are not permitted.

  • Long-sleeved TCS t-shirts are not allowed as outerwear.

  • Collared shirts should be worn under all outerwear to ensure a student remains in dress code if the outerwear is removed during the day.

  • Outerwear not approved may be confiscated and returned at the end of the school day.

Footwear

  • Shoes must be closed toe and closed back. No flip-flops or Crocs.

  • Socks should be a neutral solid color that coordinates with the outfit. NO knee high socks for boys wearing shorts.

  • Boys cannot wear boots with shorts, and pants cannot be tucked into the boot.

  • Footwear should be in good condition without any writing or drawing.

Friday Spirit Days

Each Friday, students are permitted to wear blue jeans or usual dress code pants/shorts/skirts with TCS spirit wear purchased from the school store. Blue jeans must be blue and free from rips, holes, tears, etc.

Back by popular demand!

Students may wear a polo/collared shirt with the TCS logo on it (purchased from the school store) every day of the week with dress code approved blue jeans (no rips, tears, holes, etc). The school store sells regular cotton polos for $20 and the dri-fit Under Armour type for $30. Jeans may only be worn with a TCS logo polo M-TH. Otherwise, the regular dress code applies and Friday will remain as spirit day with TCS spirit wear and bluejeans.

Supply list

Just the basic supplies will do to get started (i.e. pens, paper, pencils). Students will receive a syllabus in each class which will list the supplies for the class. Be sure to check out the syllabus for any course specific needs.

Safety Precautions

Please be sure to review the reopening plan and full scope of details in the Return to School Plan.

Just as a reminder - Masks are encouraged, but not required at all times. Students and staff will be required to wear masks when entering the building for temperature checks, lunch lines, and during all class transitions.

Masks should be any solid color, and free of markings, insignias, and designs unless it is a mask with the Trinity logo. Final authority on the appropriateness of all face coverings resides with the administration.

Students will be encouraged to use the outdoor as well as the indoor areas to spread out and keep group numbers low during the lunch period.
