  • 12/16 - Wed. - Athletic Attire Day

Here are the guidelines (you have seen these before):

Athletic shorts can be worn but must meet the fingertip rule - There should be no spaghetti straps or tank tops. Any tops that are low cut or have a low v-neck must have a modest camisole underneath so that the neckline is raised and there is not visible cleavage. Leggings may only be worn with a top that meets the length requirement for shorts (Fingertip rule applies)

Holes/rips/tears in jeans should not be above the knee

  • Mesh/see-thru tops should not be worn unless there is a full coverage top underneath it.

  • The fingertip rule for shirts, shorts, and skirts applies to every angle - front, back, and side view

  • Shirts should touch the top of the pants, shorts, skirt, etc - if you lift your arms and I can see your skin it is too short

  • Form-fitted/wetsuit style attire is not permitted

  • Bralettes do not qualify as a modest camisole underneath *wear with extreme caution

  • Hats may be worn

General Rule:

If you have concerns about your outfit...just pick out something else to wear!

IF you ARE NOT going to participate in the dress down days then Students may wear Friday dress code guidelines (or regular dress code)

More Christmas Fun

During this festive season, Student Council is providing opportunities for acts of kindness. Last week, students were able to purchase a bag of candy and leave a personalized note for a friend to receive in Bible class. Next week, they will be selling Hot Cocoa where students can buy two for $1 in hopes that they will give one to a friend.

Christmas Break Schedule

Here is a reminder of the updated schedule that we will follow Monday 12/14 - Wednesday 12/16

Counseling News!

We have 80 college acceptances for the class of 2021!!! This is just a wonderful testament to the hard work from the class of 2021. They have faced adversity in light of the pandemic and are still proving themselves as achievers! Congratulations class of 2021!!

Second Semester schedules are open for viewing! They will be open from Monday-Friday (Dec 7th-11th). Please email your grade level counselor with questions/concerns/change requests. Thanks!

HIgh School Chapel

What is coming up next in chapel?

Last week, Reed Shackelford, affectionately known by all as Shack, delivered a power-packed message. He stressed that God came near in humanity’s darkness and brought the light of HOPE to the world. However, He did it through ordinary people like me and ordinary circumstances like mine. God’s offer of HOPE can be fully trusted because God completely keeps all of His promises. Way to go Shack!!!

Please be in prayer for Ron Edwards as he closes our series with a message on Christmas PEACE. Continue to praise God that He did not invade the earth with angelic armies to destroy it but rather came near with angelic choirs to announce His eagerness to connect with our broken humanity. In doing so, He offered us a salvation that provides enduring HOPE and accessible PEACE

We are excited that a team from Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters will be on campus on Wednesday 12/9 to pour a spirit led message into our high school population.  We will follow an assembly schedule on this day as follows:

Backpack Buddies of Coweta

Don’t forget to bring in your donation. Our goal is to collect 800 large cereal boxes (any kind) by 12/11. If we can get every HS student to bring in 2 boxes per person before the deadline, then we will easily meet our county’s needs.
