Diving into a weeklong adventure to support our students’ love of reading!

the adventure is WITHin the Pages

At Trinity Christian School, cultivating a habit of reading among students is paramount. Beyond academic gains, regular reading enhances critical thinking, comprehension, and analytical skills. Exposure to diverse literature fosters empathy and a broader worldview, while also refining vocabulary and communication skills. The habit of reading nurtures a love for learning, stimulates creativity, and encourages independent thinking. Ultimately, it equips our students with essential tools for navigating both academic challenges and the complexities of the world.

That is why we’re hosting a weeklong book fair. Think of it as a fun adventure to support and encourage our students’ love of reading. We have partnered with a reputable, Christian-friendly book supplier. Our goal is to ensure that your child has access to a wonderful array of books they will love, and that will give you peace of mind.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We have taken the past year to research conservative options that offer quality, customized service. With that in mind, we are using an affiliate of Blue Ribbon Book Fairs called Turtle Express Incorporated. Our southeast representative is a former pastor on mission to foster a love for reading through a variety of wholesome book selections!

  • Books are appropriate for PreK through 5th grade students.

    1. Parents may visit the Book Fair during their child’s scheduled class time.

    2. If you are registered to eat lunch with your student during the Book Fair shopping days (Jan. 9 - 11), you may take your child to the Book Fair immediately following lunch. Please be sure to check your child back in to the Lower School Main Office afterwards.

    3. During Grandparents & Special Friends Day (Jan. 12), the Book Fair will be open 8:30am - 1:00pm.

  • PREPAY INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Click on the PREPAY LINK

STEP 2: Select "for one individual"

STEP 3: Complete info & check out

STEP 4: Check your email for redemption code

STEP 5: Enter your student's unique code into our TCS PREPAY FORM

NOTE: Please complete 1 prepay form per student.

Prepay is an online payment option for parents or grandparents to utilize instead of sending in cash or checks with their student. This option is used as a credit towards the purchase of items at the Book Fair.

For example: Johnny’s family has allocated $20 through prepay. Johnny attends the book fair with his 1st grade class on Wednesday. He chooses 2 books, a pencil, and fun eraser to spend his $20 credit. He went home happy and excited to get started reading!

When choosing the prepay option, the entire credit must be used at the book fair. No change will be given. Students will be encouraged to use their entire balance.

  • Cash may be sent in a sealed envelope marked as “Book Fair” and labeled with your child’s name, grade level, homeroom teacher, and dollar amount.

    Ex: BOOK FAIR

    Student: Johnny Rocket

    Grade: 1st

    Teacher: Mrs. Bookworm

    Amount: $20

(Note: Check or credit card payments may be used only if you are attending in person with your child.)

  • There is no sales tax. All purchase prices are listed to the dollar.

  • Families love to provide wishlist books for teachers to keep in their classroom!

Teacher wish lists will be available at the Book Fair.
