TCS High School: Sepsis Awareness Day
$5 contribution to Natalya Manhertz’s medical and daily needs
Students may wear red and black to promote Sepsis Awareness
Sepsis is the body’s life-threatening response to infection that affects 1.7 million people and takes 350,000 adult lives in the U.S. every year. This is what grabbed a hold of our very own, Natalya Manhertz. In chapel on 9/13 we will hear a message from Principal Kimmy Jones and participate in a dress down day by wearing red and black to promote awareness of this illness.
In order to participate in the dress down, we are asking students to contribute $5 of which all of the proceeds will go directly to support Natalya in acquiring necessary medical and daily life items. These resources are vital for her journey towards a fulfilled life after battling this life-altering and devastating disease.
