Trinity Christian School is committed to three areas of engagement:
1.Love God (Worship)
2.Love our neighbor (Community)
3.Love the world (Mission)
“Engage” exists to facilitate opportunities for transformation through service —whether to our local community or to nations around the globe. We do not believe that our students should feel threatened or intimidated by diverse world views or belief systems but would humbly engage the world with God’s compelling grace.
Missio Dei: God is on a mission to restore a people unto Himself, that they may be a people that bring Him glory, honor, praise, and adoration. Trinity aims to provide well-executed missional and intercultural experiences that have the potential to significantly impact a students’ spiritual, emotional, relational and vocational development. It is our hope that through loving service our students will be transformed (Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17), and others may be led to the truth (John 14:6).
Go Week
We believe that at TCS our students need to be challenged in a different way. The idea of GO WEEK was created to be a springboard for students to show the love of Christ to others and to be stretched in new ways. The purpose was to not only impact different people groups, but also to change the culture of our student body. Our desire is to see our students see a different perspective on life and to develop a meaningful desire to serve others. In order to change the culture at TCS, we needed 100% of our students involved, which is why we schedule this week during our regular academic schedule.
Students may go on one of several mission trips or serve one of nearly 20 local nonprofit organizations around Metro Atlanta.
