At Trinity, we believe the positive influence and support children receive from their grandparents is essential to their wellbeing and development. Not only is TCS committed to partnering with parents to ensure our students receive a quality education in a safe Christian environment, we also endeavor to foster meaningful relationships with grandparents to do the same.
We are excited to welcome our grandparents back on campus for our annual Grandparents & Special Friends Day on Friday, January 13. This is a special day for grandparents to spend time on campus visiting classrooms, meeting teachers, and enjoying a wonderful experience that is sure to build memories for years to come.
What to Expect
Locations:
Grandparents & Special Friends Day will take place simultaneously at the following locations:
TCS Go Church Campus (Early Learning - PreK thru Kindergarten)
TCS Sharpsburg Main Campus (Lower & Upper Elementary School - 1st - 5th grades)
Schedule:
The event will be divided into two (2) schedules. Your schedule will be determined by the last name of your grandchild.
Schedule A: (last names A-L) 8:30 – 10:00 am
Schedule B: (last names M-Z) 10:30 am – 12:15 pm
Activities:
Classroom Visits: As you arrive on campus, please escort your grandchild to their classroom to participate in several special activities. The event is at your own pace as we recognize that some Grandparents may have multiple classrooms to visit.
Academic Specials: Visit the designated Specials Experience located in the gym on both campuses to learn about the Specials Programs offered at Trinity
Sample SAGE:
You’re invited to sample a wide variety of tasty and nutritious offered by our new dining services program through our partner, SAGE Dining Services. See firsthand why so many of your grandchildren love the menu selections provided by Trinity.
Getting Around Campus:
There will be a healthy amount walking involved: from the parking lot, to your grandchild’s classroom, and various locations for this event. Shuttles will be available at our Main campus for those needing assistance.
Volunteers and our security staff will be readily available to help with directions, class locations, shuttle schedules, and handicap parking.
Who is invited:
We are excited to welcome our Grandparents of students in PreK - 5th grade to this special event. If your child’s grandparent is unable to attend, we ask that you prayerfully consider who may be another special person in their lives who would like to attend. In years past, special friends have included aunts/uncles, Sunday School teachers, neighbors, etc.
