TCS theatre students performing on stage

Students at Trinity are exposed to the Arts from the earliest of grades. Systematically, they progress in all aspects of Arts learning, with the goal of college preparatory education for the higher grades. Students who progress into collegiate fields in the Arts are well prepared, and thrive in their respective fields. From instrumental and vocal, to theatrical and technical, anything that touches a stage, we are TCS Performing Arts! We are All About the Arts!

The academics of Performing Arts enhance each student’s educational path, as research shows students with continued Arts exposure and training become some of the most successful young professionals.

Students gain an appreciation and understanding for Arts culture, history, and application, all in a mission-minded setting where we seek to give God the glory for the creative talents He has given each one of us. The educational, social and spiritual benefits of the Arts will continue to serve our students well for years to come.

TCS Media students running sound and video production equipment

Media

Matt Felton, Director of Live Media and Productions  |  matt.felton@tcslions.org Follow us on Instagram

Our students gain hands-on experience on industry standard equipment in multiple technical areas, including sound, lighting, video production, film, sports broadcast, and more. They are some of the best prepared students to graduate and go into the work force directly, or into collegiate programs of study.

The tech program at TCS was able to equip me with the skills needed to go out into the broadcast field, and to do it in a way that glorifies the Lord.

Brett R, Class of ’26

In my first year studying tech at TCS, I have met many great people and have learned more about what tech has to offer. It has helped prepare me for what I want to do in the future.

Involvement in the Roaring Dramatics at TCS introduced me to the ministry of sharing and receiving stories from on stage. Today, I get to be part of leading worship at Georgia Tech, and enjoy making memories at the Theatre with loved ones. The Arts added a vibrance to my life that I am deeply grateful for.

TCS Worship Team students leading chapel worship

Worship

Tim Hurt, Performing Arts Director  |  tim.hurt@tcslions.org

Our High School students lead live worship weekly, leading their peers at our chapel services. Outside opportunities also present themselves, where our students minister in the local church and parachurch organizations. These students are the next generation of worshipers, and they are leading well right now!

Being part of the Worship Team at TCS has helped me grow closer to God in ways I never would have imagined. The people on our Worship Team have truly poured into me, by encouraging me, challenging me and helping me grow, not just in worship, but as a person.

Hannah Joy F, Class of ’27

My experience on the Worship Team at Trinity grew my confidence and cultivated my worship leading skills, now allowing me to lead in the local language on Pohnpei where I serve as a full time missionary.

Hannah H, Class of ’23

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”
