CHASE MCBURNETT SCORES 100%

Student Shout out to Junior, Chase McBurnett. Chase is a dual enrollment student at West Georgia Technical College as a part of the Precision Manufacturing Program. He scored 100% on his final which required him to assemble a motor component system-connecting a gear drive to a chain drive assembling it all from bearings, shafts, and chain/gear components. Way to go Chase!

Exam Days Dress Code

Let’s show our Christmas cheer next week!

  • 12/16 Merry Monday Morning - come in PJs

  • 12/17 Tacky Tuesday - wear your ugly Christmas sweaters

  • 12/18 Winter Wonderland Wednesday - wear your Christmas best

  • 12/19 Color Block Thursday - red, green, gold, blue, silver, white, etc

Here are the guidelines (you have seen these before):

  1. Athletic shorts can be worn but must meet the fingertip rule - There should be no spaghetti straps or tank tops. Any tops that are low cut or have a low v-neck must have a modest camisole underneath so that the neckline is raised and there is not visible cleavage. Leggings may only be worn with a top that meets the length requirement for shorts (Fingertip rule applies).

  2. Holes/rips/tears in jeans should not be above the knee.

  3. Mesh/see-thru tops should not be worn unless there is a full coverage top underneath it.

  4. The fingertip rule for shirts, shorts, and skirts applies to every angle - front, back, and side view.

  5. Shirts should touch the top of the pants, shorts, skirt, etc - if you lift your arms and I can see your skin it is too short.

  6. Bralettes do not qualify as a modest camisole underneath *wear with extreme caution

  7. Hats may be worn.

General Rule:

If you have concerns about your outfit...just pick out something else to wear!

IF you ARE NOT going to participate in the Christmas Cheer then Students may wear Friday dress code guidelines (or regular dress code) for the review and exam days 12/16 - 12/19.
