A Message to High School Parents

Dear TCS High School Parents,

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with gratitude and fellowship. As we return to school, the next three weeks mark an important and pivotal time in the academic year. Our teachers will be concluding the semester with comprehensive reviews of their courses, culminating in final semester exams.

As a normal practice, the final week of the semester will follow an adjusted exam schedule. Please take note of the following:

  • Tuesday, December 17th - Thursday, December 19th: Half-day schedule with exams each day. SAGE will be serving breakfast each day for high school students.

We encourage all students to begin their preparation now, taking advantage of review sessions, study guides, and other resources provided by their teachers. Your continued partnership and support are invaluable as we strive to help our students finish the semester strong.

In Gratitude,

Blake Bass

Assistant Head of School

Interim High School Principal

Hey Lion family!

The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Class is hosting a toy drive to support kids in North Carolina affected by the flooding from Hurricane Helene. Many of these kids have lost everything and will not have the resources to celebrate Christmas with gifts and toys. We want to help bring joy to these kids' lives and allow them to experience the excitement of Christmas without the burden of buying toys.

Our first drop-off day to donate the toys is on November 22. Please bring your toys to the lobby in Building 5. Our second and final drop-off day is after Thanksgiving break on December 2nd. We want to give gifts to children of all ages, so please bring gifts for Kindergarten through 12th grade. The suggested donation amount is $25-$30

Each donation will be entered into a raffle to win a Chick-fil-A gift card. For more information, look on Instagram @tcscfaleader.25.

The counseling department is hosting a college financial aid workshop on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Student Activities Center in Building 1. Ben Meadows from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be here to discuss the Hope Scholarship, state aid programs and share details about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). NOVEMBER - APPLY TO COLLEGE MONTH

Georgia Apply to College (GAC) is part of the American College Application Campaign, a national initiative of ACT's Center for Equity in Learning to increase the number of students accessing postsecondary education. In support of GAC each year, the Governor has proclaimed November to be Georgia Apply to College Month.

Many schools within Georgia waive their application fees during the month of November. In support of this initiative, the counseling department will be encouraging our seniors to apply to at least one college in the month of November.
