Every Lion needs a pride, and TCS students are no different. We believe that as part of our mission to “shape today’s student for tomorrow’s world” it is important to offer discipleship in a smaller setting. Obviously discipleship happens throughout the week in the classroom, on the sports’ fields, and in chapel. However, each year after Labor Day the HS launches a D-Group effort that is 100% volunteer for both student and teacher. This year we have 15 teachers ready to invest in the lives of our TCS community. A variety of D-Groups are offered for all HS ages and interests. Typically, they are offered in the morning before school or during lunch. Frequency also varies from weekly to monthly. Our goal is not only to meet in smaller groups face-to-face but to grow heart-to-heart...the same way Jesus did it with His 12...who subsequently changed the world!

Series: IDENTITY
“Identity Verification”
Speaker: Ron Edwards
Texts: Gen.1:1ff; Mk.12:13f
“Who am I”, in terms of life’s purpose and meaning, is only second to the identity of God Himself. High School chapel is pursuing this rich question throughout September. In our series called IDENTITY we began with the core creation passage in Gen.1:26 and affirmed that our identity is determined and authenticated by God. In this message, Ron Edwards focused on the staggering privilege to be created in the image of God and stressed when we downgrade God as Image Maker we will inevitably degrade men as image bearers. Last week Chad Whittle did a brilliant job identifying our tendency to project and justify our fake ID’s. God cannot bless who we pretend to be. He once even pretended to be a Ninja Turtle...in his 20’s. Ask him about it! We are excited to see the series progress and be rounded off in succeeding weeks by Chris Paschal who will underscore the dangers of a “Stolen ID”, and finally, Brian Fourman will give us suggestions on ID Protection - how to preserve who we are in Christ.
High School Chapel started a new series called “Identity”. We believe that after settling the God question the next most important question to answer correctly is “who am I.” Ron Edwards, Campus Pastor, started the series off last week with a message on ID Verification from Gen.1:26. He focused on the staggering privilege to be created in the image of God and stressed when we downgrade God as Image Maker we will inevitably degrade men as image bearers. The remaining series will be powerful. Next week, Chad Whittle will highlight the dangers of “Fake ID” and how so many lives are fabricated for public image. Then the series will be rounded off in succeeding weeks by Chris Paschal who will underscore the dangers of a “Stolen ID”, and finally, Brian Fourman will give us suggestions on ID Protection - how to preserve who we are in Christ.
Dress Code Reminders and Updates
Students should have their own masks at this time and these are expected to be worn upon arrival, during all transition times, at lunch until seated, and during early arrival holding in the auditorium and student lounge areas. The school is limited in the supply of masks and will only be providing to those students whose mask is defective for some reason. Any student that is without a mask, or not wearing a mask during the designated times will receive demerits for failure to follow instructions.
As a reminder, masks should be any solid color, and free of markings, insignias, and designs unless it is a mask with the Trinity logo. Final authority on the appropriateness of all face coverings resides with the administration.

Teachers may also ask students to remove smartwatches during the school day if the smartwatch is being used in an inappropriate manner.
SAT Onsite Testing - Registration is closed
We will be offering the SAT here on our campus on Wednesday, Sept 23rd! Students who register will come to our campus and test here in our classrooms!
