A MESSAGE FROM MR. VINSON
Spirit Week is here, and it feels a little more special than the average year due to COVID! What a privilege to be at TCS where we have on-campus and virtual options to meet the needs of all our students. I’m so thankful to be a part of this ministry and for a headmaster who continues to lead us well during these challenging times. Let’s show our love for TCS together this week by showing our school spirit! Don’t forget about the Homecoming parade and football game on Friday too. We would love to see you all there!
LAST WEEK IN CHAPEL
Mr. Higgins, Director of Student Development, reminded our students that each of them is created with unique talents and gifts that are to be creatively used for God’s glory (motto for the Lewis House). Mr. Higgins did an awesome job of relaying all of the various workers, skills and talents that were needed to construct the Old Testament tabernacle and how each individual used their creative planning as a means for worshipping God. Spend some time affirming the talents and creativity you see in your child as a response to what they learned and help them brainstorm about how they can use those gifts as a means of worshipping our Savior!
NOVEMBER MEMORY VERSE: Romans 10:9-10 (ESV)
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
