“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)

The heart of Trinity Christian School High School is to see our students fulfill the Great Commission and share the love of Christ with others. GO Week is a week-long opportunity for students to serve together across the globe. These shared service experiences between students and faculty strengthen our school community. While many students travel domestically and internationally to serve in different cultural contexts, others make a meaningful impact by serving right here in our local community.

OUR FOCUS

International, regional, and local missions

GO INTERNATIONAL

TCS students have the opportunity to take the Gospel to the nations by serving in communities around the world. Through cross-cultural ministry, students gain a greater understanding of God’s heart for all people while sharing His love in practical ways. These experiences broaden their worldview, strengthen their faith, and ignite a lifelong passion for global missions.

GO REGIONAL

GO Week also extends to regions within the United States. Students participate in mission efforts that address real needs in nearby states and cities, from supporting church plants to engaging in service projects. These experiences allow students to step outside their comfort zones, minister in new settings, and see firsthand how God is at work across our nation.

GO LOCAL

For students who remain close to home, GO Week is an invitation to serve our local community with Christ-like love. Whether volunteering with local ministries and organizations, or lending a hand to neighbors in need, students learn that mission work begins right where they are. These acts of service build connections and demonstrate the heart of Christ in tangible ways.

Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • GO Week is a special time set aside for our High School students to step out of the classroom and into real-life ministry and service opportunities. Whether serving locally, regionally, or internationally, our goal is for students to grow in their faith, experience the joy of serving others, and see firsthand how God is at work in the world.

  • Each trip is prayerfully considered and designed to provide meaningful ministry opportunities, cultural experiences, and student safety. We partner with trusted mission organizations and local ministries to ensure students are both challenged and supported in their service.

  • Yes. GO Week is an integral part of Trinity’s High School experience. We believe every student benefits from stepping into a new environment, serving others, and living out the Gospel in action.

  • Trinity’s GO Week takes place in two sessions:

    • January 3–10, 2026

    • March 26–April 2, 2026.

Each student will be assigned to one of these weeks, and families will receive detailed trip schedules well in advance.

Travel & Logistics

  • Yes. All transportation, whether by bus, van, or airplane, will be coordinated and provided by Trinity. Parents do not need to arrange travel for their student once trips are assigned.

  • We are committed to student safety and discipleship, which is why each trip has an intentionally low student-to-chaperone ratio. Trips are led by Trinity faculty and trusted adult leaders.

  • Students will be supervised by their adult leaders at all times. Our leaders are carefully selected, background-checked, and trained to provide spiritual and physical oversight throughout the week.

Safety & Health

Communication

  • Student safety is our top priority. Each trip has a detailed safety plan that includes travel guidelines, emergency contacts, and on-the-ground partnerships with trusted ministry organizations.

  • We ask families to communicate these needs ahead of time so leaders can prepare accordingly. Our leaders are trained to handle medical and dietary needs with care and attention.

  • International travelers will need a valid passport and may need certain vaccinations depending on the destination. Trip leaders will communicate these requirements well in advance.

  • Trip leaders will provide regular updates through group communication channels (such as email, text, or designated apps). Families can expect both logistical updates and ministry highlights.

  • Students may bring phones, but usage will be limited based on the nature of the trip. The focus of Go Week is ministry, relationships, and spiritual growth—not screen time.

  • Parents will be given contact information for trip leaders and the school’s designated emergency contact. Students will always be reachable in urgent situations.

Spiritual & Service Focus

  • Service varies by trip. Students may be serving in orphanages, partnering with local churches, running sports camps, engaging in community projects, or sharing the Gospel through relational ministry.

  • Prior to departure, each group will meet regularly for training and preparation. These times include prayer, team-building, and equipping students for the specific ministry they will encounter.

  • Yes. Each trip intentionally includes time for daily devotionals, worship, and group reflection. These moments allow students to process their experiences and see how God is at work.
