We hope that everyone is enjoying the fall crisp air and time “off” from the regular routine of things on campus.  Please keep in mind that 10/7 and 10/8 were scheduled as Remote Learning Days for our students and 10/11 and 10/12 were scheduled as No School for Fall Break. It is important to know that the students will be provided with assignments to complete remotely for each of their scheduled classes.  These assignments will be due on 10/14*

Accessing Transcripts

Trinity Christian School has partnered with Parchment, a leader in eTranscript exchange, to send high school transcripts electronically, securely and confidentially, to colleges and universities of your choice. The service is available online, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

Students and alumni simply request a transcript and designate the academic institution, organization, or individual for which they would like to receive. Users will be notified when their request is complete and can also track the status of their request or view a saved copy of their transcript.

Students will receive an email inviting them to create their account. This short video demonstrates the process. Register for your account using a registration code** The registration code will be sent in a separate email directly to the student’s tcslions.org account later this evening.

Once registered, you can begin immediately requesting transcripts be sent. This will replace the former link/google form. All requests will need to be made through Parchment beginning October 4.

Parents can go to parchment.com and click Create Account at the top. Under Learners or Parents, click the green Create Account button. Create your parent account.

Mid-Course Assessment (MCAs) Week December 13-16

In years past we have used the last week of the term as a time for students to complete a cumulative exam for each of their core subject areas.  Our response to COVID and academics has allowed for a positive take away of implementing alternate forms of assessment that allow our students to really show their mastery of content in an applicable way.  The implementation of the MCAs will be held for in each subject matter:

  • Math cumulative test

  • Bible, Science, History and elective courses project based assessment ie lab/activity/presentation/project/research

  • Literature Reading comprehension and Writing Assessment

  • Spanish auditory and verbal assessment

In order to maximize the time that is allocated for the half day schedule during the Week of December 13-16 here is what the schedule will look like for the MCAs:

*Regularly Scheduled classes that meet on a typical Monday/Tuesday/Thursday

Chapel

People all over the world have various forms of government, differing climates and economies, and a wide range of world-wide influence. But our God is the Creator of all men and the LORD of all lands. We share an image bearing nature regardless of other apparent differences. We have a common heavenly Father who desires to unite all of us as one family of all-in Jesus followers. Please pray for Angel Maldonado as he delivers our chapel message in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (10/14/21).

We also covet your prayers for another critical message. Natalie Bacho, with Abby’s Angels, will be our keynote speaker for National Driver Safety Awareness (10/21/21). Natalie’s story is powerful and she has done tremendous work to honor the memory of her daughter as well as to keep other sons and daughters alive through safe driving initiatives. TCS is honored to partner with her in this effort. Check out the website and consider financial support for this worthy ministry. https://abbysangelsfoundation.org/
