Dress Code Reminder

The days have gotten longer, the temperatures have become warmer, many students are growing taller, and the shorts and skirts have become shorter. Here is a reminder of the dress code:

Pants, Shorts, Capris, Skirts

● Khaki, black, gray, or navy blue No sagging pants (a belt should be used to prevent sagging). No fraying or torn look; no carpenters, cargos, rivets, joggers or ankle bunching. Shorts must be no more than 5 65 inches above the knee (about the length of an index card).

● Khaki, black, gray, purple plaid or navy blue pleated, straight, or A-line skirts – non-stretch cotton or cotton-twill only. Skirts may be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.

What’s happening in class?

The TCS Yearbook Staff just completed and submitted a HUGE 80 page deadline which finished the main 222 pages of the book, so they celebrated with a trip to Heirloom to celebrate with a treat. Way to go Mrs. Hackworth and team! We are thankful for all your hard work!

Chapel

Have you ever had a "senior moment?" You know, a happenstance in which your actions reflect your advanced age. Sometimes it may be forgetting your keys or falling asleep watching Jeopardy. For three of our Trinity High School Seniors, their "senior moment" was a time when they could display their advanced wisdom to the entirety of the high school student body.

Our senior Bible teacher, Patrick Brannon, had the honor of introducing McKayla Neil, Pria Pullin, and Maggie Robbins to the chapel stage. We were more than honored to have these ladies speak at chapel. In fact, we were blessed by their wisdom and maturity. McKayla reminded us in various ways that "God is Enough." Pria shared some personal challenges she faced in high school and how it is possible to face any of life's challenges in Christ. Maggie shared with us the beautiful expression of restoration Christ had with the apostle Peter and how Christ offers restoration to all of us who may feel shameful and unworthy.

Trinity has an abundance of high school seniors that are eager and willing to share a faith message with us and we just cannot wait until our next seniors join us at chapel after spring break as we continue our "Senior Moments" series.

End of Year Celebration

A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing.

This is for all 9th -12th graders, but no outside guests.
Saturday, May 6th

7:00pm-10:00pm

$25 per person

The theme is Neon/Glow in the Dark.
