Events & Announcements

A grateful heart that is filled with heavenly thanks and praise to God, is a heart that is ready and prepared to have the peace of Christ fill them up so that it can flow out to others - as a testimony of praise. May we with one accord let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts day by day and moment by moment.. for it is to this that the body in Christ has been called - and let us in all things be thankful.

DGROUPS

Discipleship Groups are back! Discipleship Groups are an integral part of spiritual growth here at Trinity. Discipleship Groups are Christ-Centered Small groups where students meet with leaders to read the Word of God, encourage one another, as well as  do life together. We are excited to roll out our groups and pour into our students. Please be in prayer for the leaders and students. Specific times, locations, and topics are in the slideshow below.

All Things HOCO

As a part of our exciting week of Homecoming festivities, our high school population will participate in the Battle of the Grades on Friday 9/16. We will follow the assembly schedule as outlined below that provides a modified class time to create the built in time for fun! Since this is a competition, here are the colors for the teams: Seniors - black, Juniors - white, Sophomores - purple and Freshmen - gray

Class Themes

Below are the themes for our grades that were voted upon by the Student Council. We can’t wait to see how Student Council members decorate the hallways for the week to align with their theme.

Plan now to dress up and join in on the homecoming fun!

  • Monday 9/12 - Character Day

  • Tuesday 9/13 - Twin Day

  • Wednesday 9/14 - Pirate Day

  • Skirts and Dresses should be of modest length providing full coverage (about 3 inches above the knee with bicycle shorts underneath )

  • Rompers are acceptable, but they must be fingertip length and non-form fitting.

  • Form-fitted/wetsuit style attire is not permitted

  • Hats may be worn

    General Rule:

If you have concerns about your outfit...just pick out something else to wear!

Dress Code Guidelines

Please take time to review the guidelines which now includes examples of options

and what will be approved and not approved.

Our team has been diligent in the dress review process. We appreciate all that have been sending in their photos and cooperating with this request. Our desire is to host a fun and memorable event for our students and promote modesty for all attendees. It is evident by the dress review process that there is great difficulty in meeting the length and style requirements therefore individual adjustments have been made at the time of the dress review. We will continue to conduct the review process but we are aware that pictures sometimes provide an inaccurate view of the actual dress, so we are doing the best we can to require accommodations and modifications as necessary.

Tickets can be purchased next week during lunch in building 5 and after 1st and 6th period in building 1.

Prices are:   $20 (12th - 15th)

Students who would like to bring a date who does not go to Trinity Christian School, must fill out the Guest form and turn it in by 9/15

Absent from school

Please be sure to communicate student absences and send in excuse documents to hsattendance@tcslions.org Additionally, the student should always review Blackbaud and communicate with their teachers regarding the work that they have missed.  In cases where the student is absent for more than 3 days, we would like to connect with the student upon return, assess their academic needs, and establish a Return to Academics Plan (RTA) accordingly. If students have a medical need related to their absence, please contact the nurse at nurse@tcslions.org to gain direction and guidance as appropriate and necessary based on the degree of the medical need.
