The 1st annual TCS College Fair was a huge success. The students were able to get answers directly from 23 different college representatives, explore options, learn about scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and some even were able to shake hands with the representatives from schools that they are already accepted at. Shout out to our Counseling Team, Brian Fourman, Brian Long, and Kayla Whittle for putting this together for our students.

Home Building Project Update

One of the houses that the Seniors worked on during the Senior Retreat in PCB, Florida is finally ready for move in. The Hope Panhandle Organization will be going live on Facebook as they reveal the home to the family on November 13 at 4pm CST.

Operation Christmas Child

We have a wonderful opportunity this year to impact our world in the Name of Jesus. Our holiday initiatives are Operation Christmas Child (international) and Backpack Buddies (local). We are excited to wholeheartedly support both endeavors. We want every HS student to participate.

  1. First, Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse. We have already distributed 50 shoe boxes as a HS and are hoping many more will be submitted. If you did not receive a box but would like to participate then go to  https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child to find out how to participate.
NOTE: These boxes must be filled and returned to school no later than Friday 11/15.

  2. Second, Backpack Buddies is a local mission for us. We have been asked to provide 500 large boxes of cereal (note it is "boxes" not "bags"). Any kind of cereal is fine.
NOTE: These boxes must be turned into TCS HS no later than Thursday 12/12.

GRADUATION DATE: MAY 17, 2020

Mark your calendars! We are anticipating that several of our spring sports teams will be a part of the state competitions that fall on the weekend of our originally planned graduation date. This will impact a significant number of our senior students and staff. Therefore, we have moved the graduation ceremony to Sunday night, May 17th in the TCS Stadium at 7pm.
