Sydney Mattsen Wins Newnan Christmas Shirt Contest

Senior and Student Body President, Sydney Mattsen, was the winner of the Newnan Christmas Shirt contest hosted by the Newnan Junior Service League. Sydney not only receives recognition for her design but the TCS art department received a prize check from the NJSL. You can purchase a shirt by using the link below. All proceeds go to support the NJSL.

Midterm Exam Schedule

Review Days: Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 16 - Dec. 17) - normal full days

Exam Days: Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 18 - Dec. 19) - half days

Dec. 18 - Wednesday
- 8:45am-10:15 exam 1 -Science
- 10:30am-12:00 exam 2 - English
Dec. 19 - Thursday
- 8:45am-10:15 exam 1 - Math
- 10:30am-12:00 exam 2 - History
Dec. 20 - Friday (no school for high school students)

Trading places

This past week the 10th and 11th grade Bible teachers traded places. This was an opportunity for the 11th grade students to be encouraged with the truth of God’s word from their previous Bible teacher, Mr. Paschal while offering the time for 10th grade students to have interaction and hear the word from Mr. Lorow, 11th grade Bible teacher. This was received well by the students and we will continue to do this at various times in the year across all grade levels in the Bible department.

Supporting Backpack Buddies

The charge is on - We have been asked to provide 500 large boxes of cereal to support our local Backpack Buddies organization (note it is "boxes" not "bags"). Any kind of cereal is fine. Let’s do this!
NOTE: These boxes must be turned into TCS HS no later than Thursday 12/12.
