Patience is not simply the ability to wait; it is the ability to keep a good attitude while we are waiting. Patience is also a fruit of the Holy Spirit that can be developed only under trial. This is why God allows us to go through challenges and trials instead of delivering us from them as quickly as we would like. He always has a plan to bring us through the difficult times we face, but He uses difficult times to help us grow so we will be stronger and have greater faith when the trial is over. While we are waiting, our job is to simply trust God, knowing that He will do what He needs to do when the time is right.

CHALLENGES FROM Chapel
It was such a blessing to be led in worship this past Wednesday by our high school worship team as well as the gospel choir from Trinity Church. The choir is composed of students of all ages from TCS and Trinity Church, and we are so grateful for their leadership. They sounded so good and they led with such passion and excitement as they worshiped God with us. Thanks to Jason and Stacie Moore for their leadership and for giving us the opportunity to be led by the choir. History and Apologetics teacher Dan Robertson shared a very challenging message with our students. He asked a question that is so important for all of us to consider: “Do you believe that what you believe is really real?” In other words, do you know what you believe, and do you really believe it? The truth is, we live our daily lives in response to the beliefs we have. Teaching from John 15, Mr. Robertson reminded us that we are either strongly connected to God and clear in our faith and belief in Him, or we’re flimsy branches barely connected or totally disconnected to the vine of Christ, liable to fall to the ground at any moment and be tossed into the fire. We must remain connected to God by pursuing a growing relationship with Him through prayer, the Bible, and fellowship. This discipline in our faith will set us free, and will help us to know for sure what we believe and what our lives should look like in response to our beliefs. Join us in praying for clarity in the lives of each of our students as they nail down what they believe and why they believe it so that they can live their lives for the things that matter most!
