A Message to High School Parents
Dear Trinity Christian School Families,
I am thrilled to share the excitement and joy we've experienced during our first week of school. Walking through the building, I’ve had the pleasure of observing our dedicated teachers engaging with enthusiastic students. It has truly been a great first four days of the school year.
Our seniors enjoyed an exciting and meaningful time of togetherness on their annual Senior Retreat to Ellijay. Meanwhile, our underclassmen have acclimated well to their new classes, teachers, and friends.
A special highlight of our week was Chapel Day. Dr. Anthony set a wonderful tone with a powerful message on the meaning of the word Gospel for our students. His words inspired and encouraged us all, reinforcing the importance of our faith in our daily lives.
As we move forward, it is my hope and prayer that the remainder of the school year will be just as successful as this first week. I encourage you to talk to your child and share any difficulties they may be experiencing with our administrative team so that we can address any questions early.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Blessings,
Blake Bass
Assistant Head Of School
Interim High School Principal
Drug Testing
TCS reserves the right to conduct random drug testing for 6th-12th-grade students or drug testing when there is a suspicion of drug use at the sole discretion of the administration. The intent of this policy is threefold:
To provide a safe, respectful environment for all students.
To be a deterrent for those who may be tempted to follow the crowd and try illegal substances. Research has shown that random drug testing does provide a disincentive to do drugs, and it also gives the student another legitimate reason not to participate when facing peer pressure.
To provide redemptive accountability for those who have succumbed. It is redemptive in that, once drug use is exposed, the student and his/her family can face the situation and get help to restore the student to his family and a healthy lifestyle that honors the Lord.
Students who have positive results will be subject to our discipline policies, but it is also our hope that by making the problem known, parents will be assisted in getting the student the help he/she needs. Students who refuse to submit to a drug test may be expelled.
Twice a year TCS will also, in coordination with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Department, conduct random K-9 drug sweeps of the High School campus for the sole purpose of maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all students.
SENIOR RETREAT RECAP
The senior class experienced a remarkable trip that led them to the North GA mountains. This experience was God-centered, Bible saturated, and gospel informed, encouraging and allowing our students and staff members to kick off the school year with hearts fixed on Jesus!
Whether it was through team building, climbing rock walls, or playing volleyball until late into the night, the senior class did it together. Over the course of two days, they learned that God’s gospel and good news are given to them for salvation, and that the message of reconciliation is now message they steward. They learned that, in Christ, we all have a calling to be ambassadors for the Kingdom (2 Corinthians 5:20-21). The class of 2025 showed us that they are mature, growing young men and women who are confident knowing, believing and sharing the most central tenant in Christianity, the gospel!
Our students sang together, laughed together, prayed together and learned together in an unforgettable experience that we trust will bear fruit for years to come!

On Campus Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment classes through Point University and Middle GA State University are held at TCS. It is important to note that these are college courses and that all communications are conducted with the student directly from those colleges. Dual enrollment professors at any college or university do not communicate via email with parents due to federal privacy law (FERPA). Additionally, TCS teachers, staff and administrators are not the point of contact for dual enrollment class questions.
Dual enrollment classes do NOT meet on Mondays even if they appear on your schedule.
Dual Enrollment Classes begin: Tuesday, August 13
End: Friday, December 13
*If your student is enrolled in a course that is not being offered on campus (i.e West Georgia Technical College, GMC, or another academic institution) please take time to review their start and end dates as well as the policy on absences and tardies. These courses are not managed by TCS and therefore do not follow the same calendar or guidelines.
Upcoming College Rep Visits
9/12 - University of Georgia, (Athens, GA)
College visits typically happen during our lunch blocks. If you are a parent who is interested in connecting with a representative during this time, you are welcome to come. However, we ask that you set an appointment beforehand by calling our front office. This helps us to have a record of your visit and allows the representative to know you are coming so they can plan to meet with you and your child during their lunch period.
