A Message to High School Parents
Dear Trinity Christian School Parents,
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all who joined us at the recent parent meeting regarding the potential purchase of the property on Fisher Road. As discussed, this acquisition is pivotal for the future growth and impact of Trinity Christian School, but it hinges on the approval of the Coweta County Commissioners. We need every parent's help.
To ensure we secure this opportunity, we kindly ask for your support in three ways:
Reach Out to Commissioners: If you know any county commissioners personally, please consider calling them to express your support for this project. Alternatively, sending a brief email can also make a meaningful impact. To make this easy, we’ve provided each commissioner’s contact information and a template email at the bottom of this Inside the Pride section.
Positive Communication: Commissioners often receive feedback that leans negative on various issues. A positive, respectful message from you supporting our purchase of this property could make a significant difference.
Pray with Us: Most importantly, we ask you to join us in prayer. Scripture reminds us of the power of prayer and faith. “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” (Matthew 21:22). Let’s trust in God’s plan for Trinity’s future.
Thank you in advance for standing with us in this endeavor that will shape Trinity Christian School for generations to come.
In gratitude,
Blake Bass
Assistant Head of School
Interim High School Principal

FROM THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
SAVE THE DATE!
COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP
The counseling department is hosting a college financial aid workshop on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Student Activities Center in Building 1. Ben Meadows from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be here to discuss the Hope Scholarship, state aid programs and share details about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This will be an informative meeting for seniors and their parents looking at ways to pay for college and complete all the necessary college financial aid documentation.
SEMESTER ONE COURSE GRADES
The first semester is rapidly moving along, as we only have six weeks left in the grading period. Students should be aware of their current grade in each one of their classes and connect with their teacher for ways to improve their grade. This would include getting assignments completed on time, turning in late work that can still be accepted and using their Do-Over assignment opportunities if they have not already done so.
All failed courses remain on the transcript. Any course that is not passed will have to be made up in order to receive the necessary credit for graduation. Students who fail a semester course will be notified by the counseling department of their options for completing failed courses.
NOVEMBER - APPLY TO COLLEGE MONTH
Georgia Apply to College (GAC) is part of the American College Application Campaign, a national initiative of ACT's Center for Equity in Learning to increase the number of students accessing postsecondary education. In support of GAC each year, the Governor has proclaimed November to be Georgia Apply to College Month.
Many schools within Georgia waive their application fees during the month of November. In support of this initiative, the counseling department will be encouraging our seniors to apply to at least one college in the month of November.
WHAT COLLEGE IS A GOOD MATCH FOR ME?
Trying to figure out what college makes sense? Not sure you can go to college at all based on your GPA? If that is the case, GEORGIA MATCH IS FOR YOU!
Georgia Match is a simple way for students to know where they are eligible for admission, based on their recent high school calculated HOPE grade point average (GPA). The Georgia Student Finance Commision is helping students see where they could attend college in Georgia based on their current academic record and then to apply to institutions that they are most interested in attending.
