A Message from the Principal



Dear TCS Family,

✈️ Trinity Travels & Tales - Sharing Family Moments from Summer Break

As mentioned in last week’s edition of Inside the Pride, we’re excited to launch a special summer feature called Trinity Travels & Tales — a chance to spotlight our Trinity families and staff as you explore, rest and make memories together. 

This week, I wanted to share a recent tale from one of our English Teacher’s, Mr. Theobald. Between teaching his college course, scoring AP Language Exams, and attending the AP Literature Institute, he and his family managed to sneak away for a trip to Pigeon Forge to visit Dollywood. It was their first time visiting—and they had an absolute blast. Beyond the rides and attractions, what made the biggest impression was how Christ-centered the park is. Dolly Parton’s love for the Lord is woven into the very foundation of Dollywood, and it was a powerful reminder that faith and entertainment can thrive side by side.

CLASS SHIRTS

It is time to order class shirts for the 2025-2026 school year. Our school colors will be represented by each grade. Seniors - Black, Juniors - White, Sophomores - Purple, and Freshmen - Grey. With all the pep rallies that Mr. Wheeler would like for us to have next year, it would be beneficial for each student to purchase one as they will be asked to wear their grades color the day of pep rallies. For all the students who purchase a shirt, we would love for them to wear their class shirt the first day of school to  show off the grade they are in. 

Student Council members made designs for their grades to vote on. You will find the winning shirt for each grade in the link below. 

9th -11th grade class shirts

12th grade class shirts

Shirts can be picked up at the school on Orientation Day.  If you have a conflict with this day email student.council@tcslions.org. While you can order shirts all year, the deadline to have them ready for Orientation Day is July 20th.

Spirit Days for the Month of August

  • Tuesday, August 5th - All grades wear class shirts. Senior sunrise at 6:30am at building one. 

  • Wednesday, August 6th - Seniors Dress Up with Sashes (Girls wear black dress boys wear white collar shirt and khakis)

  • August 11th - 15th - Seniors dress according to 5 stages of life: 

    • Monday- 1st day of Preschool, Tuesday - Current Self, Wednesday - 1st college pick, Thursday - College and Career, Friday - Senior Citizen

  • Friday, August 15th: All grades can participate and dress like their grade: 

    • freshmen=baby, sophomore= teenagers, juniors= middle age, seniors= senior citizens

  • Friday, August 22d - All grades wear class shirts for 1st Pep Rally of the Year!

  • Thursday, August 28th - Wear College Shirts and Jersey's to kick off College Football Season

Prayer Requests

The High School Administrative Team would love to partner with families to lift up prayer requests you have. Please fill out the TCS High School Prayer Requests form to submit a request. These requests will be prayed over on a regular basis and kept confidential among the High School Administrative Team.

FROM THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

NEW SAT DATES FOR FALL 2025

 The new dates for fall and spring administration of the SAT have been released for the 2025-26 school year. Rising seniors should consider taking the SAT during the fall semester of 2025. Rising juniors should target the spring semester of 2026 for their first administration.
