Kara Joy Bragg, Beau Gregory, Will Price, Morgan Ross, Conner Shannon, and Gracie Waller participated in the GHSA literary meet held on Tuesday, March 3

Kara Joy Bragg placed first in her division

Conner Shannon and Will Price came in second place in their category

They have qualified to compete at the State meet on the 14th

On Monday March 23rd, we have a wonderful opportunity for a guest speaker.  Chaplain Greg Washington from the Milwaukee Bucks will speak to an assembly combined for High School and Middle School in the TCS Gym.  Our students will check into their first period class and then walk over to the gym. The rest of the day will follow the schedule below.

Senior Schedules:

Here is the rundown of the schedule for senior schedules:

Friday, May 1st - Last day of regular class (including Bible, etc...)

Monday, May 4 - Day 1 of Senior Finals

Tuesday, May 5 - Day 2 of Senior Finals

Wednesday, May 6 - Seniors are off

Friday, May 8 - Senior Exam Make up day

Tuesday, May 12 - Honors Night - invitation

Thursday, May 14th Senior breakfast 9am in the multipurpose room and graduation practice immediately following

Sunday, May 17 - Graduation arrive at school no later than 6:15pm, report to the multipurpose room

AP EXAMS

** AP exams are as follows:

Monday, May 4 Government 8am

Tuesday, May 5 Calc BC 8am

Wednesday, May 6 Literature 8am

Thursday, May 7 Chemistry 8am

Monday, May 11 Biology 8am

Thursday, May 14 Economics 12pm

9th -11th grade exams will be held on Wednesday, May 20th and Thursday, May 21st from 8:45am-noon


Senior Graduation Announcements and Cap & Gown Information

If your Senior, missed this opportunity to connect with the representative on campus please have them come to the front office to pick up the Graduation Guide.

Cap & Gown Fees:

  • Beginning January 25th - $45.00

  • Beginning April 1st - $55.00

  • Beginning May 1st - $60.00

New date for graduation: Sunday, May 17th at  7:00PM.

2020 Junior/Senior Prom

Mark your calendars for the 2020 junior/senior prom. 

  • Date: Saturday, April 18th

  • Time: 7pm - 11pm

  • Where: Glendalough Manor (http://www.glendaloughmanor.com/)

  • What are the guidelines? 

    • No tight, form-fitting dresses which allow for limited movement.

    • Hemlines and slits should be no shorter than 3 inches above the top of the kneecap. 

    • Strapless dresses are permitted; however, they cannot show ANY cleavage.

    • No low V-necklines in the front of the dress. If the back of the dress has a low V, it is permitted, as long as it is above the natural waistline.

    • Two-piece dresses must have no more than two fingers of space in between the top and the skirt. The distance between the top and skirt should not change with movement.

    • No large cut-outs at mid-section or sides of the dress.

    • No nude/skin tone underlay creating the illusion of a deep plunging neckline or see-through material. Modesty panels may not be nude in color or transparent in any way. 

    • Please wear appropriate undergarments: bra, slip shorts, etc.

    • Connect with Kayla Whittle or Val Adams for dress approval

    • These guidelines apply to all that attend the dance (even guests). Failure to adhere to the guidelines will result in modifications at the dance or not permitted to participate

Parents, have you ever wanted to know what your student is searching during class? GoGuardian has created an app for parents to monitor what students are searching in the classroom, during downtime, and even at home. COUNSELING NEWS

SOMETHING NEW: This year we will host Parent /Student Registration hours March 12th from 6:00pm-8:00pm or March 13th from 9:00am-11:00am. ALL PARENTS & STUDENTS MUST come during these open "drop-in" hours (no need to schedule, shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes per student) to submit the registration form and any other necessary documentation related to scheduling courses for the 2020-2021 school year.

College Visits:

Technical School Visits: 

  • Chattahoochee Tech, Marietta, GA - March 12th (8:45-1:30)

  • WGTC, Newnan, Ga - March 17th (1:00-3:30)
