Chapel
Last week, our highly esteemed 11th grade Bible teacher, KC Lorow, turned TCS stadium into a “Paul-at-Ehesian-Theater” moment. Like the apostle, KC challenged our thinking. Through a creative rehearsal of HS Bible grades and curriculum, KC offered lessons embedded in each year’s curriculum. From 9th grade he stressed that we have to have faith in God even when He makes us wait or when times are tough. So, be patient! From 10th grade he underscored that we are not the hero of our own story. God is. So, be thankful! From 11th grade he rehearsed the Phillipi jail house event and highlighted that when the apostles were wrongly convicted, they responded with joyful conviction. Be worshipful! Finally, from 12th grade apologetics he featured the necessity to move out on a mission into an unknown future because we know the One who holds the future. Be intentional! Thanks, KC.
In the meantime, while waiting for those special senior moments, we are TCS high school chapel is looking forward to our “Senior Moments”, that beautiful time at the end of the year when we receive devotions and wisdom from some of our graduating seniors. This year we have 13 seniors leading chapel over the next 4 weeks. Please be in prayer for their preparation and efforts and for the hearts of their peers.
