Crisp air and golden hues officially welcome fall!

Our auditorium space is multifunctional and used daily as our cafeteria.  All of our students can take advantage of the lunch options that are provided on campus or bring their own lunch.  Students  can plan to eat inside the auditorium or utilize the outdoor patio style seating area just outside of the building.  It has become quite popular for students to order lunches to be delivered to the school.  We do not encourage this as standard practice for many reasons but the main issue is that there are often delays in deliveries which impacts the ability to eat lunch prior to the start of the class post the lunch period. Additionally, we would like to limit the number of “outsiders” on campus during the school day.

D-Groups

Jn.17:3, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” In light of God’s clear teaching, September marks the time each year that we add another component to center our high school students on the reign of God. We are initiating 18 diverse, teacher-led, and completely voluntary Discipleship Groups promoted through our Bible department. There is something for every age, personality, and gender. The groups meet at various times, days, and locations on the HS campus.

Please be in prayer for the work God will do through these small ministry communities.

Chapel

Satan’s greatest weapon is seen on every high school campus across America, even Christian high schools like TCS. He doesn’t need to make us bad as long as he can keep us busy. He doesn’t need to move teenagers to cry out against God if he can crowd out God.

The Bible department is making a clarion call to our young men and women in our series called “Can I have your attention, please?” Our 4th Year Teacher Mr. Paschal brought the word this week from Matthew 13. He inspired students to seek the Lord in the calm. He encouraged students that God is not in a Tug-O-War in the cosmos but is the victor in all things. He warned of the distractions that can cause us to "have ears but not hear" and the things we allow into our lives that may cause us to "have eyes but not see." He finished with the final exaltation of the Lord that "Jesus makes a calling a faith opportunity." Thank you Mr. Paschal.

Be in prayer for the next week as KC Lorow further develops our series.
