Encore! TCS Arts Students Celebrate

College Commitment At Signing Ceremony

By Samantha DePriest

It comes as no surprise that our Performing Arts department has been in growth mode for quite some time. With the addition of many talented staff members and robust programs, students interested in all aspects of the Arts have a wide variety of classes and clubs to participate in at TCS. This past week, five of our seniors were recognized and honored at the very first Arts signing. Parents, teachers, and friends filled the room to support our students and provide words of encouragement and prayers over these graduates. What a momentous occasion for our students and families to celebrate the Arts at TCS.

Autumn Chitwood - Lee University - Music Technology

Chloe Cook - Auburn University - Stage Management

Tori Pullin - University of West Georgia - Musical Theatre and Nursing

Lilla Wise - Samford University - BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting and Directing

What a gift to the Performing Arts program Mrs. Lizzie Perez is. It is evident that God is using her to cast great vision and accomplish amazing things at TCS. On behalf of all of our students and families, we are so grateful for Mrs. Perez’s willingness to be His vessel and reach for excellence in all she does.
