We are especially proud to share that three of our senior cheerleaders — Braelyn Hammerstone, Emma Grace Hall, and Macayla Ousley — were invited to join the prestigious National Cheerleading Association (NCA) staff, a testament to their outstanding skill and leadership.

Additionally, six varsity cheerleaders were named All-American Cheerleaders: Braelyn Hammerstone, Ann Marelle Maples, Katie Seitz, Ally Walker, Ryleigh Pitts, and Emma Conant were each awarded this distinguished honor.

Student-athletes who were nominated for All-American Cheer included Ella Bailey, Abby McBurnett, Kayla Garabaldi, Hailey Gammon, Nolyn Gilley, Grace Hall, Braelyn Hammerstone, Campbell McInvale, Ann Marelle Maples, Macayla Ousley, Mia Oglesby, Ryleigh Pitts, Katie Seitz, Ally Walker, and Adoria Ware.

Several of our JV cheerleaders were also nominated for All-American Cheer, including Addie Cherry, Miley Couey, Brie Edwards, Virginia Edwards, Audrey Jennings, Mason Jones, Emery Keroack, and Gabbi Phillips. Our JV team had a strong showing — earning 1st Place in one of their divisional categories and celebrating two All-American Cheerleader winners of their own: Emma Conant and Mason Jones. We couldn’t be more proud of all our student-athletes for their spirit, talent, and dedication. This year’s camp results set the tone for what’s sure to be an incredible season ahead!

Stay tuned for more details on a fun new game called “Get Clipped for Spirit,” which our cheer squads will be playing at every Varsity home football game. Student fans in the stands of all ages who show the most school spirit have a chance to get clipped, and the fan with the most clips can turn them in for a gift card at the end of each game.

We are looking forward to our first home football game of the season on Friday, August 22nd, in Lions Stadium against Riverdale High School. Mark your calendars and Let’s Go Lions!
