A MESSAGE FROM MR. VINSON
WAs you enjoy the final weeks of summer we are working hard on preparing for the upcoming 22/23 school year! I’m so excited for all the LORD has in store for us, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to serve your family this year. As Trinity continues to grow and improve, I’m more and more thankful every day to not only work here at TCS, but to have my family experiencing all of the exciting opportunities as well. Keep enjoying the time off, but don’t forget to reference this newsletter every week throughout July as I’ll be adding new information each week to help prepare you for the start of the new year!

Mrs. McBurnett oversees our special events and field trips while also handling our middle school counseling duties.

Mr. Higgins oversees the spiritual development of our student body while also assisting with discipline issues.

Staggered Visiting Schedule:
9:30 - 11:30 am Last Names A – L
1:30 - 3:30 pm Last Names M – Z
Tuesday, August 9 – First Official Day of Classes (Students attend classes)
Drop off as early as 7:00 am
Classes start at 8:00 am
Class Placement Update
We are working on making your child’s schedule and will be communicating finalized schedules in the next few weeks. If your child has qualified for advanced classes, you will be receiving an email from your child’s Academic Coordinator this week!
New Teachers Coming Aboard
As we continue to grow and expand, we are excited about new team members that are joining our staff. Over the next several issues I’ll be introducing you to all of our new teachers!
Upper Elementary Spirit Wear COMING SOON
We are finalizing this year’s unique upper elementary spirit wear and will be taking orders very soon! Stay tuned for this year’s order form that will appear in this section (hopefully next week)!

Summer Reading (REQUIRED)
Did you miss the information regarding summer reading? Be sure to check out the information below for your child’s grade level. Assignments are due the first day of school!
Rising 4th Grade
Choose a Christian fiction book that will interest your child to read. Be sure to choose something that has at least 100 pages.
APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT: Complete the Desert Story Pyramid

Please take the time to review our updated uniform policies for next year to help guide you in making purchases this summer. Remember, students are required to wear TCS branded outerwear.

Do you still need to submit your child’s elective preferences? It’s not too late! Get those in ASAP as we are starting to make schedules this week!
Upper Elementary Specials Class Selection and Friend Request Forms
NOTE: With 4th and 5th graders changing classes, it is not always possible to keep your child with the same friend group all day long. Our goal in asking for friend requests is that we schedule your child with at least some of those requested friend choices throughout the day.
