OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES

Don’t forget that shoe boxes are due in chapel on Thursday, November 21. Your child can earn house points for each shoe box that they bring! Note: Please do not send shoe boxes early as we have limited space to store them.

SIX FLAGS READING PROGRAM

We are excited to announce our Six Flags reading program starts this week. The program will be online this year, not on paper. You will receive an information sheet from your child’s homeroom teacher (check Purple Folder) with the website and special code to access their account. From now until March 1st, students can log their 6 hours of reading for fun to receive a free ticket to Six Flags next summer. Have fun reading!

As the weather is getting cooler we are seeing many students in outerwear that is not Trinity outerwear. Please know that our dress code policy states that all outerwear (jackets, sweatshirts, etc…) that are worn in the building must be Trinity outerwear.

OPEN HOUSE AND FAMILY FUN NIGHT

You are invited to stop by your elementary student’s classroom on Tuesday, Oct. 29 any time between 5:30-6:30 pm to speak with the teacher and observe recent projects done in the classroom. We will also have the Book Fair open for purchases as well. In addition, we will have food trucks, games and blow-ups open until 7:30 pm for your family to enjoy. We hope to see you there!

From the Academic Dean

Our “Just Read” program is off to a great start with our 5th grade students! We had a blast celebrating the students who read 6 books during the months of August and September. Our “Just Read” program encourages your son/daughter to read 20-30 minutes a night to finish 2-3 books a month. Our next Reading Celebration will be Friday, December 13th for students who have finished reading 13 books. Please reach out to your child’s Reading teacher if you have any questions.
