Attention Attendance

In order to streamline the process of communicating your attendance documents and needs, an email group for High School attendance has been created. The email address is hsattendance@tcslions.org.

The advantage of this email group is the collaborative inbox that will allow you to send over pre absence forms and supporting documentation for excused absences over to one location for your high school related needs. This email contact is in effect immediately so please be sure to include this email address for all high school attendance purposes.

HS Chapel

Another week, another worship service, and another experience of Almighty God as He works through the gifted men and women at TCS. This week the HS was blessed to have Jason Settle, a seasoned Bible teacher and dedicated Jesus follower who also teaches 4th, 5th, and 7th grade Bible in the lower school. He challenged the students to live their life for Jesus like a runner carrying a baton on one leg of a race (Heb.12:1-2). In the face of eventual death, it is imperative, he argued, that on our leg of the race that we fight, and claw, and battle and hand the Jesus story faithfully to the next generation. Thanks Mr. Settle.

Be in prayer for Nathan Blevins as he prepares his heart and words for next week’s chapel.

What’s Happening in Class

Anatomy students are getting serious about learning about the human body through hands-on dissections. From sheep brains to fetal pigs, students are discovering just how amazing God’s creation really is!

GO Day continues on…!

On Tuesday, Juniors traveled to downtown Newnan to work with the Riverlife organization to help with tornado relief. Students helped with yard work, brush removal and sorting furniture for those affected by the tornados. On Wednesday, students put their organizational skills to use as they sorted and organized inventory for Bridging the Gap. On Thursday, students joined the Backbuddies to pack 400 bags for students in need. They finished the day at the Real Life Center in Tyrone where they organized food donations to prepare the upcoming distribution.
