Tennis Team & Coach Matt Akey Recognized
A huge congratulations to our Trinity Christian Tennis Team for their outstanding achievements this season! Under the exceptional leadership of Coach Matt Akey, our team has demonstrated remarkable skill, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Coach Akey’s dedication to developing student-athletes both on and off the court has not gone unnoticed, as he has been named the UTSA Coach of the Month. This prestigious honor reflects his commitment to excellence and the impact he has had on our tennis program. Well done, Coach Akey and the entire tennis team, we are proud of your accomplishments!
Let’s continue to celebrate the achievements of our Trinity Christian students and staff as they shine in their respective fields. Go Lions!
This Week in Chapel
This week in high school chapel, we continued our learning through the Exodus series, focusing on Exodus 5:20–6:9 and the faithfulness of our covenant-keeping God. Students reflected on Moses’ obedience to God’s command, only to face immediate failure, rejected by both Pharaoh and his own people. Yet, in his despair, Moses turned to God, reminding us of the importance of seeking Him in all circumstances and trusting in His promises, especially His promise of rescue. We also looked to Jesus, our greater Moses, who leads us to rely on His truth rather than the false promises of the world. Students were encouraged to preach the truth to themselves daily, walk in step with the Spirit, and trust God fully, knowing that He is always faithful to His Word.
