A Message to High School Parents
Dear TCS High School Parents and Students,
This past week at Trinity Christian School, I had the incredible privilege of witnessing something truly special; our students leading us in a powerful, heartfelt time of worship during Chapel. It was one of those moments that will remain etched in my heart for years to come.
From the very first note, I could feel the presence of God moving through our student body. There was something different in the air, something deeper, more personal and more authentic than I have ever seen before. As our student-led worship team and individual singers lifted their voices in praise, the entire high school joined in with a passion that was overwhelming. Hands were raised, eyes were closed and hearts were completely surrendered to the Lord. It wasn’t just music; it was an offering, a moment of pure devotion where our students boldly proclaimed their faith.
I had the opportunity to speak for a brief moment, but the most humbling part of the service came when I was officially set in as Principal through prayer. In that sacred moment, our high school students surrounded me as our High School Bible Department Leader, Ryan Tipton lifted me up before the Lord. It was deeply moving to have our students, young men and women who are growing daily in their faith, lay their hands on my was deeply moving. Their words were sincere, their prayers powerful, and their faith inspiring.
I left Chapel that day feeling both honored and overwhelmed by God’s goodness. This experience reminded me why I am so passionate about Christian education. Watching these students lead, worship, and pray with such authenticity and love for Christ affirms that we are raising up a generation who not only know God but desire to make Him known.
To our students, thank you for your example. Your worship was a glimpse of heaven and I am beyond grateful to serve as your Principal. God is doing something amazing at Trinity Christian School and I cannot wait to see how He continues to move in and through each of you.
