A Message to High School Parents

Dear TCS High School Parents and Students,

Earlier this week, Dr. Anthony shared the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of one of our freshman students, Samantha Malenius. Receiving such tragic news is never easy and as a school community, we mourn the loss of a beloved daughter, classmate and friend. Our hearts are heavy and we grieve alongside the Malenius family during this incredibly difficult time.

Samantha was a cherished part of our Trinity Christian School family for the past two years and her presence will forever remain in our hearts. In times like these we find comfort in the love and support of one another and the unwavering promises of God. Throughout this week we have walked alongside our students, giving them space to grieve, offering support through our faculty, staff and counselors, reminding them that they are not alone.

During our chapel service, Mr. Howard, our ninth-grade Bible teacher, shared from Psalms 85, reminding us of God’s unfailing love. Mrs. Perez, our Theater and Musical Director, spoke about the importance of leaning on one another and finding strength in His love during difficult times. Though we are deeply saddened, we take refuge in the knowledge that God is near to the brokenhearted.

Please join me in continuing to lift up the Malenius family in prayer. May they feel the love of our Trinity community surrounding them and most of all, may they find comfort in the presence of our Lord.

We grieve together but we do not grieve without hope. Let us hold fast to His promises and to one another as we navigate this difficult time.

May God continue to bless you and your family!

James Wheeler

IInterested students will need to attend that session where application and hiring information will be provided.
