A Message from the Principal
Week two is in the books and what an incredible start to the school year it has been! We were blessed to welcome home our talented Student-Art performers who represented TCS at the National Fine Arts Festival in Orlando. Several of our students were honored for their outstanding performances, which is a true testament to their dedication and God-given gifts. I invite you to head over to the Performing Arts section of Inside The Pride for a complete listing of all our students recognized in the National Fine Arts Festival. Great job Team, we are proud of you!
💬 We Value Your Feedback.
As we prepare for Week 3, our students are beginning to settle into their routines, and there is a sense of excitement and momentum on campus. I would love to hear from you; how are we doing? Your partnership means the world to us and your feedback helps us grow. Please feel free to email me anytime at james.wheeler@tcslions.org.
Due to weather conditions earlier this month, we had to postpone the original date for our end of summer bash.
So, we invite all new Trinity families to join us for the Welcome to the Roar: New Families Tailgate on Friday, August 22, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Gathering Place on our main campus. This special event is exclusively for first-time families, and will take place before the Friday Night Lights experience at the football game.
Save the Date: Fall Family Fest – Thursday, October 9
While the Welcome to the Roar tailgate is focused on welcoming our newest Lions, we’re also preparing a school-wide event for all Trinity families in October. Be sure to mark your calendars for the TCS Fall Family Fest on Thursday, October 9. More details will be shared soon!

POINT DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSES START THIS WEEK
Semester one dual enrollment classes with Point University begin this Wednesday, Aug. 20th.
Dual Enrollment classes through Point University are held at TCS. It is important to note that these are college courses and that all communications are conducted by the student directly with the faculty and staff with those colleges. Dual enrollment professors at any college or university do not communicate via email with parents due to federal privacy law (FERPA). Additionally, TCS teachers, staff and administrators are not the point of contact for dual enrollment class questions.
Dual enrollment classes do NOT meet on Mondays, even if they appear on your schedule.

UPCOMING COLLEGE REP VISITS
Colleges love sending their admissions recruiters to Trinity! This fall, we will host many college reps looking to connect with our students to let them know what their particular school has to offer. These visits typically happen during our lunch blocks from 11:00 - 1:00 on Tuesday - Fridays.
If you are a parent who is interested in connecting with a representative during this time, you are welcome to come. However, we ask that you set an appointment beforehand by calling our front office. This helps us to have a record of your visit and allows the representative to know you are coming so they can plan to meet with you and your child during their lunch period.
Visits will be updated here weekly as they are scheduled. Here is our current list of upcoming visits:
9/4 - University of Georgia (Athens, GA)
9/18 - Samford University (Homewood, AL)
9/23 - University of West Georgia (Carrollton, GA)
