Mr. James Wheeler - High School Principal
A Message from the Principal
We have officially finished the first quarter, and I am extremely proud of our students and faculty for the way they are working together—partnering in the learning process, supporting one another, and pursuing excellence both inside and outside the classroom. I would also like to thank our High School Faculty for volunteering and assisting during the Fall Festival. It was such a joy to see our teachers connecting with our elementary students through bounce houses, games, and laughter as it truly reflected the heart of our Trinity community.
Enjoy the rest of your Fall Break!
🌍Go Week 2026 – What an Amazing Start!
The TCS staff has been absolutely blown away by your incredible response to GO Week registration. Your enthusiasm and heart to serve are a powerful testimony, and we’re confident the Lord is going to move in amazing ways through our students this year.
We’re thrilled to see so many students stepping out in faith, ready to make a difference. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support during this exciting time. Please continue to pray over our students and chaperones as they prepare for their trips. Our prayer is that God would begin shaping hearts even now, and that TCS would shine His light and leave a lasting impact in every community we serve, both near and far.
What’s Next?
Official registration and payment for JE regional trips and OM international trips will open next week on October 15. Be on the lookout for details as we take this next step together.
Special Event on October 22:
Abby’s Angels & Coweta HEAT
We’re excited to announce that Abby’s Angels Foundation and the Coweta HEAT Department will be joining us during Chapel and Advisement on Wednesday, October 22 for a special presentation.
All high school students will head down to the field for this important and impactful event. It’s a valuable opportunity to hear real stories, learn about safe driving, and understand how we can make wise choices that protect ourselves and others.
Students, enjoy your 4-day weekend as we will have our Fall Break Monday, October 13th. The weekly schedule will stay the same when we come back on Tuesday the 14th.
There will be a large bin near the front doors for you to drop your Toy/PJ donations off. Please make sure to write down your name and what you brought on the sheet so we can ensure you receive hours if you are in beta club or NHS.
Check out pictures from our Homecoming Week.

FALL PSAT ADMINISTRATION FOR 11TH GRADE
The PSAT for 11th grade students will occur on Monday, Oct. 20th. Testing will occur in the morning and be completed by lunch. All 11th graders should arrive by 8:15 and report to the student center in Building 1.
Students need to fully charge their Chromebook the day before. It needs power to last for three hours. After testing, students will attend afternoon classes as scheduled. It is not a half-day of school.
For more test day details including how to prepare, what to bring and what is not allowed, CLICK HERE. The cost of the test is $18 and will appear on the students billing account.
SENIORS - SET UP PARCHMENT ACCOUNT
Seniors were emailed instructions on setting up their Parchment account in order to request transcripts. Every senior should set this account up as it is useful for this year and once they graduate if they ever need to request their transcript again. If you have any questions about creating an account, email our registrar (registrar@tcslions.org).
WHAT COLLEGE IS A GOOD MATCH FOR ME?
Trying to figure out what college makes sense? Not sure you can go to college at all based on your GPA? If that is the case, GEORGIA MATCH IS FOR YOU!
Georgia Match is a simple way for students to know where they are eligible for admission, based on their recent high school calculated HOPE grade point average (GPA). The Georgia Student Finance Commission is helping students see where they could attend college in Georgia based on their current academic record and then to apply to institutions that they are most interested in attending.

2026-27 FAFSA RELEASED

It would also apply to students in Georgia looking to receive the HOPE or Zell Miller Scholarship. In general, it needs to be filled out every year a student is in college in order to receive financial aid.
You can find information about the FAFSA and to apply at StudentAid.gov.
We will be hosting a FAFSA and HOPE Scholarship workshop on Monday, Nov. 17th. More details about this evening event will be coming soon.
