Walking Together
A New Beginning
There is something special about the beginning of a new school year.
Fresh notebooks, prepared classrooms, new schedules and familiar faces all remind us that God, in His grace, gives us new opportunities. As we prepare to welcome our students back to campus next Tuesday, I have been reminded that each school year is more than simply another academic calendar; it is another opportunity to see God work in the lives of our students, our families and our faculty.
This year, our school theme is Engagement. That word carries a powerful challenge for each of us. We want our students to be fully engaged in their learning, engaged in meaningful relationships, and, above all, engaged in their walk with Christ. Our prayer is that every classroom, every athletic field, every fine arts performance, every conversation in the hallway, and every chapel service points our students toward a deeper knowledge of God and a greater desire to make Him known.
As parents, you play an invaluable role in this journey. The greatest gift you can give your children this school year is not simply encouragement to earn good grades, but encouragement to pursue Christ daily. Pray with them before they leave for school. Ask them what God is teaching them. Celebrate not only academic success, but moments of spiritual growth and Christlike character.
Students, as you walk onto campus next week, remember that you have the opportunity to make a difference from the very first day. Introduce yourself to someone new. Encourage a classmate. Respect your teachers. Work diligently. Most importantly, let your words and actions reflect Jesus. Scripture reminds us:
"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." — Proverbs 16:3
As we begin this school year and celebrate 35 years of God's faithfulness at Trinity Christian School, we do so with grateful hearts and great anticipation. For thirty-five years, the Lord has sustained this ministry, and we are confident He will continue to guide us as we partner together to educate students with excellence while pointing them to Christ. We look forward to all that God has in store for our Trinity family this year.
As we continue walking together, may we know God more deeply, make Him known more faithfully, and trust Him to guide every step we take. May the Lord bless you and your family this week.

EXCITING ADVANCED PLACEMENT “AP” RESULTS
Advanced Placement (AP) courses represent the highest level of academic rigor offered in our high school curriculum, and our students rose to the challenge during the 2025–2026 school year. We are excited to share that Trinity Christian School continued to improve upon our previous AP exam results, with an even greater percentage of our students earning qualifying scores. Our students also outperformed both the Georgia and national passing averages, a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the exceptional instruction of our faculty. Congratulations to every student who embraced the challenge of these rigorous courses and exams. Your commitment to excellence continues to reflect the strength of our academic program, and we are incredibly proud of your achievement.

SENIORS
Senior Retreat
We are so excited to announce our class of 2027 Senior Retreat in the Mountains of Andrews, NC! TCS is partnering with Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters, a gospel-centered Christian camp. Students will enjoy a spiritual retreat full of time for worship, prayer, meditation, team building, and plenty of outdoor recreation!
The theme is “What is the gospel?” Students will be pointed to Christ as we seek to understand the person and work of Jesus in salvation. Further, students will be challenged in their understanding of the role of the gospel in their lives as they continue their walk with Christ.

Senior picture sign-up
Pictures are scheduled for Aug. 10th in the Multi purpose room. Please sign up for a time slot to take your Senior formal photo and Cap & Gown photo. Please come with a white t-shirt for boys and a white tank top or strapless top for girls. This will be your only opportunity to take photos through the school.

Student Parking
We are pleased to share an important update regarding student parking for the 2026–2027 school year. With the addition of new parking spaces on campus, Sophomore students will now be permitted to park at Trinity Christian School rather than at the nearby gas station. We strongly discourage Trinity students from parking at the gas station. That parking area is not monitored by Trinity security and carries a significantly higher parking fee than on-campus parking.
Student parking will be marked and designated as follows:
Seniors: The designated Senior Parking Lot will include the former Heirloom space and the Lower Parking Lot. This area is behind the new Trinity Church Office and will be reserved exclusively for Seniors. Please note that Seniors are not allowed to park in designatedTrinity Church Office parking spots or Sage Employee parking spots. All Senior parking spots will be marked.
Juniors and Sophomores: The Upper Middle and West Parking Lots will be designated for Junior and Sophomore parking.
The on-campus parking permit fee for all student drivers is $100 per student and will be charged through Blackbaud. Families who have already paid last year’s parking rate for this school year will be charged the difference. The student parking fee will appear on your family's August Blackbaud Tuition Management invoice.
To receive permission to park on campus, both the student and a parent must complete the "HS - 26-27 Student Driver Permission Form" located HERE and pay the parking permit fee. Once these requirements have been completed, the student will receive a school-issued parking tag. The tag must remain clearly visible on the interior of the front windshield in the lower-left corner from the driver’s perspective.
Only students with a valid parking tag may park in designated student parking spaces during the school day. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to provide a safer, more convenient, and more organized parking experience for our students.
Prayer Requests
The High School Administrative Team would love to partner with families to lift up prayer requests you have. Please fill out theTCS High School Prayer Requests form to submit a request. These requests will be prayed over on a regular basis and kept confidential among the High School Administrative Team.

Welcome, TCS high school students and families!
The final preparations are in place for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, and we look forward to the return of students next week. While we don’t fully know what to expect as we step into the new school year, we can be confident of the promise of Psalm 16:11. We are able to trust God to fill us with joy as we seek His presence and the path that He has for us.

Request for a Schedule Change
Approval for a schedule change will be limited to the following:
Need a class for graduation
Change the level of a class
The prerequisites for the course have not been met
Error in scheduling
Students should complete the Request for a Schedule Change form if there is an error with their schedule. The form is designed to allow for a more efficient way to process the requests. To help expedite the schedule change requests, please complete the form. Sending an email in addition to completing the form will slow down the process and is not necessary. Mrs. Hutcheson will use the information from the form to make necessary schedule adjustments.
DROP/ADD PERIOD FOR HIGH SCHOOL
The drop/add period for high school classes ends on Friday, August 28th. Please note, only core classes can be adjusted. Students cannot drop an elective course once school begins. All elective courses need to be finalized by the first day of school, Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
Dual Enrollment Information
ON CAMPUS DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSES
Dual Enrollment classes through Point University and Middle GA State University are held at TCS. It is important to note that these are college courses and that all communications are conducted by the student directly with the faculty and staff with those colleges. Dual enrollment professors at any college or university do not communicate via email with parents due to federal privacy law (FERPA). Additionally, TCS teachers, staff and administrators are not the point of contact for dual enrollment class questions.
Dual enrollment classes do NOT meet on Mondays, even if they appear on your schedule.
Semester one dual enrollment classes with Point University begin Wednesday, August 19th.
Semester one dual enrollment classes with Middle GA begin Wednesday, August 12th. Juniors enrolled in Dual Enrollment Aviation Meteorology, you are scheduled to use the TCS Flight Lab in Room 534 during 7th period.
*If your student is enrolled in a course that is not being offered on campus (i.e. Southern Crescent Technical College, West Georgia, Georgia Military College, ets.), please take time to review their start and end dates as well as the policies on absences and tardies.
