Walking Together | Engaged and Invested
It is hard to believe we are already several weeks into the school year! As I walk through our hallways and classrooms, I continue to be encouraged by the energy of our students and the investment of our teachers.
As we settle into the rhythm of the year, my challenge to our students is simple: don’t simply be present—be engaged. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” May we fully engage in all we do for Him and with Him.
Next week, our Seniors will travel to Snowbird for Senior Retreat. Please join me in praying for the Class of 2027, that God would strengthen their relationships, deepen their faith and prepare them to lead and influence others toward Christ throughout their final year at Trinity.
As we continue walking together, may we know God more deeply, make Him known more faithfully and trust Him to guide every step we take. May the Lord bless you and your family this week.

Remote Learning Day Schedule and Assignments
Our 1st Remote Learning day is Friday, September 4th. When there is a Remote Learning Day, we alter our schedule to maximize learning time for students. Please note that school will be dismissed at 1:45 on Thursday, September 3rd. Please look at the schedule below or your schedule in Blackbaud to ensure you are attending the right classes each day. Students will be assigned Remote Learning Day work in Math and ELA classes and should check each teacher’s Blackbaud for details.
We completed our Math and ELA Progress Learning Fall Benchmark exams last week. Scores are being recorded in Blackbaud, although they do not count towards a student's average in the class. This gives us a baseline of students’ knowledge in these subjects, and we are excited to see their growth throughout the year.
If your student needs to make up a Benchmark, they need to do so by Thursday, September 3rd. They can fill out this Progress Learning Make-Up Form for each test they need to make up.
SENIORS
Senior Retreat
We are so excited to announce our class of 2027 Senior Retreat in the Mountains of Andrews, NC! TCS is partnering with Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters, a gospel-centered Christian camp. Students will enjoy a spiritual retreat full of time for worship, prayer, meditation, team building, and plenty of outdoor recreation!
The theme is “What is the gospel?” Our Seniors will be pointed to Christ as we seek to understand the person and work of Jesus in salvation. Further, students will be challenged in their understanding of the role of the gospel in their lives as they continue their walk with Christ.

HOMECOMING 2026
We are so excited to officially announce and celebrate our 2026 Homecoming Court! Congratulations to all of the students selected. We look forward to celebrating this special tradition and an unforgettable Homecoming season together!
Football Themes
The Student Council is excited to announce the 2026 football season themes. These themes were selected and voted on by student council representatives. Students participating in dressing in-theme must do so with the spirit of the student dress code in mind, refraining from wearing anything suggestive or inappropriate. Students not participating must remain in the student dress code.
Dress Code Guidelines for Football Games
Shorts and skirts must be fingertip length
No mid-drifts
Boys must wear shirts.
If any paint is worn, it must be applied before entering the stadium.
No face covering masks.
No weapons, or anything that resembles a weapon, is permitted on campus.

This week in High School chapel, Head of School, Dr. Mark Anthony helped students explore the gospel in Revelation 4–5 under the theme “A Better Story.” The sermon emphasized that the gospel begins with God on His throne, reminding us that our identity, worth, and future are secure in Him. Jesus, the slain Lamb, accomplishes what we cannot do for ourselves through His death and resurrection. Because of Christ, believers receive a new identity and become part of God’s family. Students were challenged to move beyond simply knowing the gospel and instead use it as fuel for Christian living in forgiveness, compassion, truth-telling, and Christ-like love, demonstrating that the gospel truly changes lives.
Prayer Request
The High School Administrative Team would love to partner with families to lift up prayer requests you have. Please fill out the TCS High School Prayer Requests form to submit a request. These requests will be prayed over on a regular basis and kept confidential among the High School Administrative Team.
