The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
Our Spiritual Emphasis Week was amazing! I am so proud of our students and their desire to grow in their relationship with our Lord. We studied the Lord’s Prayer piece by piece to see what God is teaching us about prayer. Each chapel service included a Biblical story, power verse, a fun game, and a call to action. We ended each service with fun giveaways such as a class pizza party, ice cream party, footballs, pop it keychains, koosh balls, and stuffed Trinity lions!! By the end of the week, our students were able to recite the Lord’s Prayer. That’s quite an accomplishment! Here are concepts that we focused on throughout the week:
God is our perfect Father in Heaven!
We must pray for God’s will to be done in our lives!
We must depend on God for what we need every day!
We must pray for God’s forgiveness and forgive others!
We must pray for God to help us avoid temptation’s trap.
We must end our prayer time by focusing on praising God!
Our first Annual Spiritual Emphasis Week was a huge success and a lot of fun!
