Homecoming Spirit Week Dress Down Days
 Homecoming Spirit Week is always a highlight on campus!

Here’s the lineup:

  • Monday – “Slumber Party”: Wear pajamas

  • Tuesday – “Dress As Something Your First Name Starts With”: Be creative!

  • Wednesday – “Group Matching Day”: Team up with friends

  • Thursday – “UGA vs. Alabama”: Show your team spirit

  • Friday – “Wacky Tacky TCS Day”: Go all out with purple and black

Homecoming Events

  • 🎉 School-Wide Parade – Monday Night
     Don’t forget to join us for our Homecoming Parade on Monday evening! It’s the perfect way to kick off the week and celebrate together as a school family.

  • 🏈 Friday Night Football Game
     Wrap up Spirit Week by cheering on the Lions as they take on Whitewater in our Homecoming football game! (I’ll be cheering especially loud for #24 and #10—my boys!)

Chapel Moments

It was a fun week in chapel as Mrs. Duncan wrapped up our Psalm 23 series, Livin’ the Sheep Life. In last week's lesson, through the story of Mephibosheth, students saw a wonderful picture of what it looks like for someone as undeserving as us to be able to live in the house of the King forever! What a wonderful promise!

Power Verse: “Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life and I will live in the house of the Lord forever." -Psalm 23:6

You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children". 

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news. 

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

  • The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.

As we move further into the school year, here’s a quick guide to help with reporting absences and making sure everything is submitted the right way.

Send Absence Notes To:

Doctor’s Appointments:

  • Email doctor’s excuse note to the attendance office or send a hardcopy through your child’s folder

  • No Pre-Absence Form needed

Planned Absences (vacation, surgery, trips, etc.):

  • Submit a Pre-Absence Form in your child’s folder 5 days before the absence

Teachers will prepare assignments once the form is approved

This year’s themes were selected by our high school students, and we can’t wait to see our students dressed up! Check out the themes below:

Chapel Moments

This week, Mrs. Randolph led chapel as we continued our series Livin’ the Sheep Life. We focused on Psalm 23:5, learning that those who follow the Lord are honored and blessed. We learned that we do not need to be afraid when we face challenges because our Good Shepherd prepares a safe place for us.

Power Verse: “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.” (Psalm 23:5)

K3 Parents – Join us on Friday, September 12th, at 8:30am for a special morning with your child! Enjoy a sweet treat and a fun scavenger hunt as your child shows you some of their favorite things at school.

I am also looking forward to offering a Coffee with the Principal meeting soon as a time to connect with parents. More details will be shared in the coming weeks!

We had such a fun week in chapel as Pastor Kami continued our Psalm 23 series, Livin’ the Sheep Life. Last week’s lesson was extra special with some great helpers! Riley and Kevin led us in worship, Chuck Foo taught our Whatchagaddaknow, and two amazing 3rd graders acted out the story from Judges 6, when the angel of the Lord called Gideon to lead the Israelites to victory. Students were reminded that just as God promised to be with Gideon, He is with us too. Even though Gideon was afraid, he was able to obey with confidence because he trusted God’s presence.

Power Verse: “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

Whatchagaddaknow: “I Have NO Fear ‘Cause God is Near!”

This resource provides families with an opportunity to review vocabulary words, grammar skills, and spelling patterns through interactive games. In addition, students can review the reading story that is read throughout the week in class. Teachers have beautifully woven a Biblical perspective within each lesson to connect and apply God's truths throughout this curriculum. As you navigate the online resource, we encourage parents to discuss those Biblical principles with their child as they will not be evident in the curriculum itself. As with any online learning, we recommend parent supervision. We feel this resource will strengthen the partnership between the classroom and home to ensure academic success for all students. When you login, select the reading book image to launch the online program.

We had a great time in Chapel this week as Mrs. Moore continued our Psalm 23 series! In last week’s lesson, the students learned that God can give us the strength to face tough times. Through the story of Elijah found in 1 Kings, the students learned that when we are in our weakest moments, God can renew our strength. God's strength is perfect and it gives us all we need to follow the path that He has planned for us.

In Lower School, there are a few special ways we intentionally care for our students and families that you may not know about—especially if you’re new to our Trinity family.

 Every Wednesday, our Lower School administration team gathers to pray over our students and families. We believe deeply in the power of prayer and want to lift you up specifically. See the section below for details on how to submit a request.

📖 Chapel Moments + Family Devotion

Each week, our Chapel Moments section highlights what students are learning in chapel. But did you know it also includes a Family Devotion? This is a simple resource designed to help you continue the lesson at home and connect your child’s faith and learning with everyday family life. Don’t miss it—it’s a special way to grow together!

Starting Strong: First Benchmarks Complete!

We are excited to share that K-3rd grade initial benchmark testing is now complete, and we are so proud of our students for their hard work! Classroom teachers will be reviewing these results to identify each child’s academic strengths and areas for growth, as well as to track progress throughout the year. This information also helps us tailor instruction to meet individual needs and support academic success. Please note that there is no specific score expectation for these first benchmark tests. They serve as a baseline to guide instruction and measure growth as the year progresses. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s learning journey!

Progress Learning Benchmark Assessment (K-3rd), August 21-22 

On August 21st and 22nd, we will be conducting our initial benchmark assessment for both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. It's important to note that these assessments are designed to evaluate students' understanding of the academic concepts covered throughout this school year and to measure their academic growth as an individual student. These assessments do not contribute to their academic grades. Students are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time, as testing will begin promptly each morning.

To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

  • The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.

Due to weather conditions earlier this month, we had to postpone the original date for our end of summer bash.

So, we invite all new Trinity families to join us for the Welcome to the Roar: New Families Tailgate on Friday, August 22, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Gathering Place on our main campus. This special event is exclusively for first-time families, and will take place before the Friday Night Lights experience at the football game.

Save the Date: Fall Family Fest – Thursday, October 9
While the Welcome to the Roar tailgate is focused on welcoming our newest Lions, we’re also preparing a school-wide event for all Trinity families in October. Be sure to mark your calendars for the TCS Fall Family Fest on Thursday, October 9. More details will be shared soon!

Progress Learning Benchmark Assessment (K-3rd), August 21-22 

On August 21st and 22nd, we will be conducting our initial benchmark assessment for both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. It's important to note that these assessments are designed to evaluate students' understanding of the academic concepts covered throughout this school year and to measure their academic growth as an individual student. These assessments do not contribute to their academic grades. Students are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time, as testing will begin promptly each morning.

Bringing Reading Home—With Purpose (K-3rd)

Student login information for Lower School's reading curriculum will be sent home soon! This resource provides families with an opportunity to review vocabulary words, grammar skills, and spelling patterns through interactive games. In addition, students can review the reading story that is read throughout the week in class. Teachers have beautifully woven a Biblical perspective within each lesson to connect and apply God's truths throughout this curriculum. As you navigate the online resource, we encourage parents to discuss those Biblical principles with their child as they will not be evident in the curriculum itself. As with any online learning, we recommend parent supervision. We feel this resource will strengthen the partnership between the classroom and home to ensure academic success for all students. When you login, select the reading book image to launch the online program.

CHAPEL MOMENTS

Last week, Mrs. Randolph kicked off our new chapel series, Livin’ the Sheep Life, based on Psalm 23. Students learned that God wants to be our Good Shepherd, and when we follow Him, He gives us all we need. We also discovered that we must choose to make God our Shepherd, and that as long as He leads us, we truly have everything we need.

Safe Dismissal Information (All Students)

Parents, We have partnered with the company safeDISMISSAL.COM to facilitate our dismissal process for our Early Learning campus (PreK-3 through Kinder) and our Main Campus (1st - 8th grades). One of the many wonderful features of this dismissal process is that your children will remain comfortably and safely in their classroom until the moment they meet you in the "car loading zone". 

Here are a few tips to follow during our dismissal process: 

  • Please make sure to have your ‘pick-up’ card displayed in your front window when entering the dismissal line. Please keep your card displayed until your child has been loaded into your car. 

  • Please stay in-line (no passing) during dismissal as the children will be instructed to walk to specific spots for loading. 

  • To reduce your wait time, please keep up with the car in front of you.  Stay attentive and focused on the car line.

  • If your student does not arrive at the loading spot before you do, you may be instructed to move to a "waiting" area where your child will be notified again. We ask you to move to this area so that we do not hold up the remaining dismissal line.  

  • Please note:  Your child is assigned to be picked up at a particular spot according to the order of cars in line each day.  Please follow the car in front of you until the line stops, regardless of where you might or might not see your child.  Stopping before the line has filled will cause the sequence to be thrown off and delay the line.  We will get your child to the proper spot should they have gone to the wrong place.

Finally, we ask for your patience the first couple of weeks of school as everyone gets accustomed to the process.  It will get faster/better each day!

What a fantastic first week we have had at Trinity! From the joyful spirit in the classrooms to the smiles at morning drop-off, it has been a wonderful beginning to the school year. We are so grateful for your partnership and the trust you place in us each day.

Our students have jumped into routines, made new friends, and embraced the start of a new year with excitement. It’s truly a blessing to see them learning, laughing, and settling in so well. Our teachers and staff have worked diligently to create a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels seen, supported, and known.

As we move forward, we are excited for all that God has in store this year. Thank you for being part of our Trinity family—we are looking forward to an incredible year ahead!

CHAPEL MOMENTS

Last week’s chapel was a joyful and meaningful start to our year! We had a great time worshipping together and setting the tone for the months ahead. Students enjoyed a fun “Who Is It?” game, guessing which of our chapel leaders was being described. Chapel leaders for Lower School are Mrs. Randolph, Mrs. Duncan, Mrs. Moore, and Pastor Kami.

We also kicked off the year with some lighthearted competition games and lots of smiles! Mrs. Randolph introduced our upcoming chapel series, "Livin' the Sheep Life"—a journey through Psalm 23 as we learn what it means to follow our Good Shepherd.

Our Early Learning students will begin chapel next week, as they have been spending this week settling into their routines and getting comfortable in their classrooms. We are excited to welcome them into this special time of worship and learning soon!

We can’t wait to see how God moves in the hearts of our students this year!

SAGE Dining Update for 1st–3rd Graders


We have heard your feedback about supporting our younger students as they learn to make balanced meal choices in the cafeteria. Last week, students explored the dining area and visited each station to become familiar with the delicious options available.

What is New:
Starting Monday, pre-plated meals will be available to help students select a well-balanced meal more easily. Please review the menu nightly with your child and help them decide which main meal they would like from either Crossroads, Free Style, or Trattoria.

You can check daily meal options on the Touch of Sage app or view the menu online at tcslions.org under the TCS Lunch Program section.

Upon entering the cafeteria, students will go directly to the station of their choice (Crossroads, Free Style, or Trattoria) to receive a balanced, pre-plated meal. They are still welcome to visit the salad, soup, and deli stations for additional selections—and seconds are available at all stations when/if needed.

We appreciate your partnership as we help our students develop healthy eating habits and independence during lunch!

We ask that LOWER SCHOOL STUDENTS (K5-3rd grade) wear their chapel day uniform (purple polos) for these pictures.

Your student will be bringing home the individual picture pre-order form this week. They should bring that pre-order form with payment to school on picture day to give to the photographer when they have their picture taken.  

Also, pictures may be previewed before purchasing after picture day on the LifeTouch website by logging into www.mylifetouch.com, using your student's ID which can be found in Blackbaud on their profile.

  • To reduce your wait time, please keep up with the car in front of you.  Stay attentive and focused on the car line.

  • If your student does not arrive at the loading spot before you do, you may be instructed to move to a "waiting" area where your child will be notified again. We ask you to move to this area so that we do not hold up the remaining dismissal line.  

  • Please note:  Your child is assigned to be picked up at a particular spot according to the order of cars in line each day.  Please follow the car in front of you until the line stops, regardless of where you might or might not see your child.  Stopping before the line has filled will cause the sequence to be thrown off and delay the line.  We will get your child to the proper spot should they have gone to the wrong place.

Finally, we ask for your patience the first couple of weeks of school as everyone gets accustomed to the process.  It will get faster/better each day!

    This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and visit the classroom. Kindergarten through third grade students may wear any variation of our school uniform on this day. Please remember to bring your school supplies. You may also drop off any medications with our school nurse. We will have a staggered visiting schedule by last name. If you have a student at both our Go Church campus and our main campus, please just choose to begin at whichever campus is most convenient for you.

Administrative Update

I wanted to share a few quick updates regarding our Lower School leadership team:

  • Ashley Moore now holds the title of Assistant Principal. While her role remains the same, this updated title better reflects the leadership she already provides to our students, families, and teachers - particularly in the areas of day-to-day operations and student discipline.

  • Leslie Cook will continue in her role as Academic Dean, focusing on curriculum, instructional leadership, and supporting our students, teachers, and families with excellence in academics.

  • Jennifer Duncan has a new title: Director of Enrichment and Spiritual Development. In this role, she will continue to oversee our LEO program for advanced learners and will also help support spiritual development opportunities across the Lower School.

IMPORTANT DISMISSAL INFORMATION FOR PREK4 AND KINDERGARTEN PARENTS/STUDENTS ONLY

Have you registered for PickUp Patrol? Have you confirmed your child’s default dismissal plan?

We employ a system called PickUp Patrol for the dismissal of K4 and Kindergarten students located at the Go Church Campus to manage dismissals. With three distinct dismissal options for our Early Learning students, this tool guarantees the safety and accurate dismissal of each child daily.

Afternoon Dismissal Options for Go Church Campus Students (Pre-K4 and Kindergarten):

  • Carline pickup - begins at 2:15pm

  • Students with Siblings at Main Campus may ride the after school shuttle to main campus to be picked up with their siblings during the 2:50pm carline

  • Students attending AGAPE afterschool program will ride the after school shuttle to main campus. The shuttle departs Go Church at 2:10pm. 

Getting started:

REGISTER: You will receive a registration email with a link to set up your account. The web app is free to parents and you can use it from your smartphone or computer. 

For easy access, follow the instructions in your registration email for how to add it to your phone’s home screen (PUP is not accessed through the app stores).

If you are already registered (had a student here last year), you can log in to PUP and set your child's default plan.

ENTER DEFAULT PLANS: Once you register, log into your PickUp Patrol account by Monday, August 4 to confirm your child’s default dismissal plan. It’s important that you complete this step so that we can accurately dismiss your children. 

How it works:

Your child's regular dismissal plan is entered into the system. This is called their Default Plan. Then whenever you have a change to the Default Plan, you’ll submit it through the PUP app. When the change is submitted, the school will be notified.

PLEASE NOTE:  Changes must be submitted by 12:00pm on the day of the change.  You will not be able to make changes after the 12:00pm deadline.

Each grade level has prepared a student supply list. Please bring these items to school on Meet My Teacher Day, August 4th. Student Supply Lists are available on Blackbaud but may also be accessed through the links below.

We are thrilled to welcome several new team members to our Lower School staff this year! Each brings a unique blend of experience, passion, and enthusiasm, and we know they will be a blessing to our students and families.

Mrs. Regina Stevens

Hi! My name is Regina Stevens. I live in Senoia with my husband, Parker, and our 4-year-old daughter. We are members of Crossroads Church, and I also have the joy of serving as the Children’s Director at our Whitewater campus. This is my 10th year in education, and throughout my career I’ve had the privilege of teaching 2nd through 5th grade in a variety of settings—including general education, special education, and gifted education. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family and working out. I’m so excited to be a Trinity Lion this year and look forward to an amazing school year ahead!

Mrs. Emily Holmertz

My name is Emily Holmertz, and I am so excited to be a 3rd grade Teacher Assistant at Trinity!  I was a 4th grade teacher before I had kids of my own, and shortly thereafter, the Lord called our family to Africa where we spent ten years growing and serving together as missionaries.  We are back in the States now, and after a couple of years of continued ministry from our home-state of Iowa, we are excited to be in Georgia where my husband, PJ, is enjoying his new job! Our son, Aiden, will be a Junior at Trinity this year; and our daughter, Sarah, is a Sophomore in college at John Brown University in Arkansas.  I am very thrilled to join the Trinity family and can't wait to connect with students and families!

Mrs. Karis Carlson,

My name is Karis Carlson, and I will be teaching second grade at Trinity this year. I graduated from Bob Jones University this past May with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I recently got married, and my husband Drew and I just moved to Sharpsburg. I am so excited to join the Trinity family, and I look forward to meeting my students and growing with them throughout the school year!”

Mrs. Rachael Washington

Hello! My name is Rachael Washington, and I’m excited to join the Lion family as a 2nd Grade Teacher Assistant this year. I bring over 10 years of experience working with children in both classroom and childcare settings. I’m passionate about supporting young learners and helping them grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Originally from Illinois, I now live in Peachtree City with my husband, Ray, and our daughter, Ariel. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, listening to theological and wellness podcasts, and finding treasures at antique shops. I'm excited for the year ahead and look forward to a great school year!

Our Lower School staff is excited to welcome your child to campus! We remain deeply committed to creating a nurturing, joyful environment where each student feels loved, supported, and known.

We are grateful to start the 2025–26 school year with a strong team—60 of our Lower School employees are returning, bringing consistency, care, and experience to our classrooms. We’re also excited to welcome two new teachers, Regina Stevens (3rd) and Karis Carlson (2nd), and one new assistant, Emily Holmertz, who are already a great fit and bring fresh energy to our team!

Administrative Update

I wanted to share a few quick updates regarding our Lower School leadership team:

  • Ashley Moore now holds the title of Assistant Principal. While her role remains the same, this updated title better reflects the leadership she already provides to our students, families, and teachers - particularly in the areas of day-to-day operations and student discipline.

  • Leslie Cook will continue in her role as Academic Dean, focusing on curriculum, instructional leadership, and supporting our students, teachers, and families with excellence in academics.

  • Jennifer Duncan has a new title: Director of Enrichment and Spiritual Development. In this role, she will continue to oversee our LEO program for advanced learners and will also help support spiritual development opportunities across the Lower School.

I am grateful for the dedication of these leaders and the many ways they help our school community thrive. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our administrative team—we consider it a privilege to partner with and serve our families.

Spirit Wear Options for Lower School Students

Don’t miss next week’s edition of Inside the Pride! We’ll be sharing exciting new spirit wear options available for Lower School students.

Pre-K4 and Kindergarten Parents/Students Only

We employ a system called PickUp Patrol for the dismissal of K4 and Kindergarten students located at the Go Church Campus to manage dismissals. With three distinct dismissal options for our Early Learning students, this tool guarantees the safety and accurate dismissal of each child daily.

Afternoon Dismissal Options for Go Church Campus Students (Pre-K4 and Kindergarten):

  • Carline pickup - begins at 2:15pm

  • Students with Siblings at Main Campus may ride the after school shuttle to main campus to be picked up with their siblings during the 2:50pm carline

  • Students attending AGAPE afterschool program will ride the after school shuttle to main campus. The shuttle departs Go Church at 2:10pm. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS TIME: Changes to Go Church dismissal must be submitted by 12:00pm on the day of the change. You will not be able to make changes after the 12:00pm deadline.

Please watch for an email regarding PickUp Patrol on or about August 1st. You will be able to set and confirm your dismissal plan and get instructions on how to use the tool for when your student's dismissal plans change. Stay tuned for more details!

Hello Trinity Lower School Families, Happy July! I hope your summer has been filled with joy, rest, and meaningful moments. Here at school, we are busy preparing for the arrival of our students, and we are already feeling the excitement of a new year ahead.

As we close out another remarkable year at Trinity, I want to take a moment to thank you for the support, encouragement, and partnership you have given to us throughout this school year. It has been a joy to watch your children grow academically, spiritually, and socially as they continue to flourish in our Lower School. From classroom milestones to field trips, themed days, chapel time, special programs, and performances—we have so many meaningful moments to celebrate. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the Fall for another exciting school year together. Until then, have a joyful, restful, and safe summer! Please don’t hesitate to reach out over the summer—our administrative team is happy to help with anything you may need.

I am thrilled to announce that Becky McAuley has been named our Lower School Teacher of the Year for 2024–2025!

Becky has been a dedicated and beloved member of our faculty for the past 11 years, with the majority of her time spent nurturing and inspiring students in Kindergarten. Her warmth, creativity, and deep commitment to early childhood education have made a lasting impact on both students and colleagues alike.

Chapel Reflections: Growing in Faith Together

This year, our Chapel series took us on a spiritual journey designed to help students apply God’s truth to their everyday lives. Each message was paired with a Whatcahgaddknow (WGK) takeaway, encouraging children to live out their faith with purpose and heart.

Staying Informed and Up-to-date

with Classroom Happenings

To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

Accessing your child's class information weekly:

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children". 

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news. 

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

  • The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.

As we approach the final week of school, we are thrilled to celebrate with fun events and special traditions! Here’s a quick look at what’s coming up:

Awards Presentations
We are excited to celebrate our students’ achievements with special awards presentations on Friday, May 23rd. We look forward to recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of our students alongside their families!

Parents are invited to attend at the following times:

  • 1st Grade – 8:30 AM

  • 2nd Grade – 9:30 AM

  • 3rd Grade – 10:30 AM

  • Preschool – 11:30 AM

Please be sure to read the entire newsletter for information and reminders regarding optional half days on Wednesday and Thursday and an official half day on Friday. 


KINDERGARTEN MARCH TO THE STADIUM AND GRADUATION CEREMONY

DATE: Monday, May 19th

LOCATION: TCS Main Campus Stadium

TIME: 6:45 pm - Parade Procession; 7:00 pm - Graduation Commencement

SUMMARY: We invite you to attend our Kindergarten March to the Stadium and Graduation.

MARCH TO THE STADIUM: The March to the Stadium event will begin promptly at 6:45pm. Please drop off your child with their teacher in the Student Center located in Building 1 at 6:30pm at Trinity’s main campus. We will send out a map closer to the event, so that you may take your place along the parade route.

CEREMONY: The graduation ceremony will take place immediately following the March to the Stadium. The students have prepared three special songs and will be receiving their kindergarten diplomas. Students will be on the field. Parents, family, and friends will be seated in the stadium seating. During our ceremony, the Full Throttle Formation Team will perform a flyover in honor of our kindergarten graduates!

WHAT TO BRING: Bring posters and noisemakers to cheer for your graduate during the parade march and ceremony. Don’t forget their Big Head Sign.

ATTIRE: Graduates should arrive in their cap, gown, and stole. Adults are encouraged to dress casually and support our littlest Lions in Trinity spirit wear.

Class Placement for 2025-26

All Returning K3-2nd grade students: Please complete the form below for class placement. 

The form linked below is a Class Placement Input Form designed to help us learn more about your child as we begin the process of creating class lists for next school year. It gives you the opportunity to share valuable insights about your child’s personality, learning preferences, and any specific needs that may help us make the most thoughtful placement possible. Your input, along with feedback from your child’s current teacher, will be considered carefully and prayerfully. Please complete and submit the form by 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 12 by clicking the link below:

Progress Learning Final Benchmark Assessment: 

On May 9th and 12th, we will be conducting our final benchmark assessment for both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics for all K5-3rd grade students. It's important to note that these assessments are designed to evaluate students' understanding of the academic concepts covered throughout the school year and to measure their academic growth as an individual student since the initial benchmark test. Remember, these assessments do not contribute to their academic grades. Students are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time, as testing will begin promptly each morning.

Last Week in Chapel

We had a wonderful time in Chapel this week as we wrapped up our “Forgive U” series. Our main takeaway was: God is always ready to forgive.

The students reflected on the importance of not only forgiving others and themselves, but also the vital step of asking God for forgiveness. Through the story of the thief on the cross, we were reminded that no one is ever too far from God’s grace.

Our key verse was:
“But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” — 1 John 1:9

Prayer Requests

Our Lower School administration team meets every Friday morning to pray over our students and families. If you have a prayer request, we would love to pray for you specifically. We believe in the power of prayer and are committed to supporting our families through this dedicated time of intercession.

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." I Thessalonians 5:11

How to Submit a Prayer Request:

  1. Fill Out the Form: Provide details about your request in the form below by clicking on the link. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

Accessing your child's class information weekly:

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children". 

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news. 

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

  • The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.

It gives you the opportunity to share valuable insights about your child’s personality, learning preferences, and any specific needs that may help us make the most thoughtful placement possible. Progress Learning Final Benchmark Assessment: 

On May 9th and 12th, we will be conducting our final benchmark assessment for both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics for all K5-3rd grade students. It's important to note that these assessments are designed to evaluate students' understanding of the academic concepts covered throughout the school year and to measure their academic growth as an individual student since the initial benchmark test. Remember, these assessments do not contribute to their academic grades. Students are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time, as testing will begin promptly each morning.

The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

This Thursday, we will be observing the National Day of Prayer with a special school-wide assembly for students in 1st through 12th grade. This annual event is a meaningful opportunity for our students and staff to come together in reflection, unity, and prayer for our nation, leaders, and one another. The assembly will include student-led prayers, music, and brief messages of encouragement, helping our students understand the power and purpose of prayer in our lives. While our Pre-K and Kindergarten students will not attend the assembly, they will have age-appropriate activities in their classrooms to honor the day.

This year’s National Day of Prayer theme is: Pour Out To The God Of Hope And Be Filled

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." – Romans 15:13

Last Week in Chapel

We had a great time in Chapel this week as Mrs. Moore taught the lesson in our series titled, Forgive You. In last week’s lesson, we studied the story of Saul found in Acts 9. This story taught us the importance of forgiving ourselves and others, just as God forgives us. We discussed that when we confess our sins, God forgives us, so it is important to forgive others as well as ourselves. 

Main Focus: Christians can be free from condemnation

Power Verse: “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1

It was another great week in chapel as Mrs. Duncan continued our "Forgive U" series learning why forgiveness is an essential part of life. In last week's lesson, through the story of Samson, the students learned how to respond when someone does us wrong. Taking revenge never works! It brings more hurt on ourselves and it causes our relationship with God to suffer. Instead of choosing to "pay back" others, God asks us to show grace, pray for those who hurt us, and forgive.

Main Focus: Taking revenge is not God's plan.

Power Verse: “Never pay back evil with more evil...” Romans 12:17

As an optional service and convenience to our Lower School families (PreK-3 through 3rd Grade only), Trinity has partnered with EPI for our 2025-26 school supply sale!  

  • EPI school supply packs contain all the specific items and brands our teachers require from our Supply Lists. (Personal items such as backpacks, water bottles, lunch boxes are not included.  Please see Supply Lists for each class located in Blackbaud)

  • One-stop shopping!  Avoid the stores and get all your school supply shopping done online with ready-to-order kits conveniently curated by grade level. Just click your child’s grade level and the supply list is loaded to your cart!

  • Supply kits are delivered before school starts and will be waiting for your student on their desk when they arrive for the first day of school!

  • When you buy from EPI you lock in pricing and avoid not being able to find everything on your list.

Our Lower School administration team meets every Friday morning to pray over our students and families. If you have a prayer request, we would love to pray for you specifically. We believe in the power of prayer and are committed to supporting our families through this dedicated time of intercession.

How to Submit a Prayer Request:

  1. Fill Out the Form: Provide details about your request in the form below by clicking on the link. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

  2. Submit Confidentially: All submissions are kept confidential and are only shared with our Lower School administration team who will lift your request in prayer.

Staying Informed and Up-to-date

with Classroom Happenings

To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

Accessing your child's class information weekly:

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children". 

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news. 

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

  • The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.

The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

As we head into Spring Break, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a joyful and memorable week we have had together. From our preschool events to the third grade wax museum, we had a busy and memorable week. I hope your family enjoyed these special moments! When we return from break, we will have just six weeks of school remaining. While it’s hard to believe the year is winding down, there is still so much learning, growing, and celebrating ahead. Wishing you and your family a restful, fun-filled Spring Break!

Last Week in Chapel

Last Week in Chapel

Last week we had another fantastic time in chapel as Pastor Kami continued our series called “Forgive U”. We talked about the importance of letting go of grudges and allowing God’s forgiveness to flow through us. Three talented 3rd graders acted out the parable Jesus told in Matthew 18 of the unforgiving servant. We learned that in order for us to be forgiven by God, we MUST forgive others. Our friends Kevin & Riley helped lead us in worship to “Hallelujah for the Cross,” and we praised God for the freedom we have through Jesus and the price He paid for us on the cross.
