It was so great to see all of our Lower School families at our Fall Family Fest. We enjoyed delicious food, beautiful weather, sweet fellowship, and lots of fun! Thank you for your participation in making this a successful event!

Early Learning Thanksgiving Celebrations
Mark Your Calendar! Our preschool and kindergarten students will celebrate the Thanksgiving season on Friday, November 18th. Preschool students will have a Thanksgiving program followed by a party. Kindergarten students will celebrate with a Thanksgiving party in their classroom, but do not have a program. Parents are invited to both events. More details soon on the specific time of your child’s event. We hope to see you there!
Last Week In Chapel
This week our “Never Forget” chapel lesson focused on remembering that Jesus has incredible plans for each of our lives. Pastor Kami used the familiar story of Zacchaeus to teach that even though we may feel unloved or unworthy (like Zacchaeus did), Jesus still seeks us out and makes His good plans known to us.
Our Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11, “'For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ’They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”
Uniform Reminders
Please take note of the following dress code requirements:
Plain style shorts or long pants, black, khaki, or gray
No cargo style pants/shorts, no denim, jeggings or leggings

As the weather turns cooler, please keep in mind the following information regarding our uniform policy for K-5th grades:
Long sleeve shirt (solid black, white, gray) can be worn under a uniform shirt for warmth.
Solid white or black tights are also permitted.
Solid black leggings are permitted but only if worn under skirts or dresses.
Cardigan sweater, button down, black, gray, or white
Trinity branded spirit wear outerwear (jacket, sweatshirt, etc.) may be worn over a uniform shirt.
NOTE: Only approved TCS uniform jackets, sweatshirts or sweaters may be worn in the classroom. No outside jackets, coats, or other outerwear may be worn except when going outside.

Christmas Extravaganza Event
Save The Date! Our Lower School Christmas Extravaganza event will be Thursday, December 15th from 6:00-9:00pm. This is a highlight of the year that includes musical programs and Christmas themed family festivities. More details to come as the event draws near!

Trinity @ Go Church Bus Transportation
If your preschool or kindergarten student rides the bus to main campus in the afternoons, please be sure to inform us of any changes to your daily plan by 1:00pm each day. Please email Christian Wade (christian.wade@tcslions.org) and your classroom teacher for all changes regarding your child’s dismissal schedule.
Elementary Clubs
Our students love to participate in our elementary clubs. These clubs are designed for 1st-5th grade students and meet after school dismisses.
Staying Informed and Up-to-date with Classroom Happenings
To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.
Accessing your child's class information weekly:
Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".
Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.
After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.
Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.
The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.
