The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
Wow! We had a GREAT first week of school! Our students have enjoyed meeting new friends, reconnecting with old friends, and learning about the fun things in store for them this year in their classes. I hope your child is excited about school and looking forward to week 2!
Blackbaud: Classroom Updates & Information
To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and will replace the hardcopy newsletter sent home in the past. I encourage you to login each week. We are excited for this new format! Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.
Accessing your child's class information weekly:
Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".
Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.
After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.
Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.
The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.
Birthday Celebrations
I am excited to announce that parents are welcome to join us for their child's birthday celebration in the classroom! Parents may either purchase birthday cart treats for $25 or bring in a birthday treat that is pre-packed and purchased from a store. Please make arrangements with your child’s teacher to schedule a time for your child’s celebration. New this year for Lower School students: Students may also dress down for their birthday (TCS spirit wear shirt and athletic shorts or jeans). Looking forward to a full year of birthday fun!

Meet Our New First Grade Staff
Rebecca Arant - First Grade Teacher
I am grateful to be a part of the Trinity Christian School staff this school year! This will be my 14th year of teaching across a variety of settings. I have worked in both public and private school settings throughout my teaching career. As an educator, I have served as an Elementary Teacher and Special Education Teacher, which has provided me the opportunity to expand my skill set and knowledge base in meeting student needs. In addition to teaching, I have also served as Children's Ministry Director at our church when we lived in the middle Georgia area. I have a passion for teaching and working with children and recognize the importance of Christian education. My husband, Jeremy, and I have been married for eighteen years. We have two beautiful children, Maddy and Andrew. Both Maddy and Andrew attend Trinity.
Lisa Clark - Teacher’s Assistant
My name is Lisa Clark and I grew up in Orland Park, Illinois near Chicago. I graduated from the University of St. Francis and moved to the Atlanta area in 2007. Four years ago, I began a new career as a teacher assistant in first grade and I love it! My family and I are extremely excited to be a part of the Trinity family.
Tara Davis - Teacher’s Assistant
Hi, my name is Tara Davis! I have worked and volunteered at Trinity for 7 years and am so excited for this new opportunity to be with the kids, who make up the future of this growing community. I am married to Randy Davis and have three daughters and two beautiful grandkids. Some of my favorite hobbies outside of school are exercising, decorating houses, and spending time with my family and friends at the lake. I can’t wait to work with a dear friend of mine, Mrs. Oliver as her teacher's aide this year.
Lana Parker - Teacher Assistant
I’m Lana Parker, originally from Oxford, Alabama. I’ve been married to Chris for 21 years and we have two boys who are students here at TCS. JP is a sophomore and Logan is a 6th grader. I hold a Bachelors in Social Work from Auburn University. Before coming to Trinity, I was a school social worker for three years in the Coweta County School System. Then after six years as a stay at home mom, I taught preschool for 11 years. I’m so happy to be a TCS Lion!
School Visitors
We are anticipating that parents will once again be able to attend indoor school events such as classrooms parties, programs, and lunch visitation. Parents are invited to eat lunch with their 1st-3rd grade students in our school cafeteria beginning September 7th.
