During the first week of January, a group of 98 8th graders and chaperones had the opportunity to experience Disney’s Youth Educational classes at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. They experimented with "Everyday Chemistry" at Epcot and "Properties of Motion" at Magic Kingdom.

During the "Everyday Chemistry", students were able to build molecules and play with polymers. It was a great review of their chemistry unit at school. We would have to say that "Properties of Motion" at Magic Kingdom was their favorite. They explored Newton’s Laws of Motion while riding Space Mountain with the lights on and off. What an experience it was! "Properties of Motion" was a great introduction to the physics unit they started this week. On days that we were not in class, we were able to explore Disney’s other parks and enjoy time with friends.
