A Week to Remember: Celebrating the Class of 2026

By Samantha DePriest

Graduation week at Trinity Christian School is a cherished tradition and one of the most memorable times of the year for our school community. The week began with Senior Honors Night, where students and families gathered for a special evening that included a reception, student-led worship, and the presentation of awards and recognitions honoring the many accomplishments of the senior class.

The celebration continued with a Senior Breakfast, giving graduates one last opportunity to enjoy a meal together before beginning the next chapter of their lives. During Senior Chapel, families join in worship, reflect on treasured memories through a heartfelt slideshow, and participated in a meaningful time of prayer led by Head of School Dr. Mark Anthony.

One of the most touching moments of the week is the seniors’ final walk through campus. As they made their way through the hallways in their caps and gowns, the entire student body lined the walkways to cheer them on. Seniors passed by the classrooms where they learned and grew, as well as the teachers who faithfully guided and encouraged them along the way. Family and friends gathered at the stadium to celebrate with photos, hugs, and plenty of excitement.

The week culminated with the high school graduation ceremony, one of the most meaningful events of the year at TCS. Alongside students and families, alumni, former teachers, and past coaches returned to celebrate the graduating class and offer prayers and encouragement as these students step confidently into their future. The weather was one of the best TCS has ever had and the fireworks display made it even more memorable.

Mr. James Wheeler, High School Principal shared words of encouragement at graduation, “ Wherever you go next, may people see Jesus in the way you live. May your life point others toward hope. May your character reflect the One you follow. May your faith remain strong long after tonight. And may you never forget that your greatest purpose is not simply to make a living— but to….. Make Him known.”

The senior class of 2026 are officially alumni and off to do amazing things. Join us in praying for their smooth transition into the next exciting chapter of life.
