DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS
Hiring of Kara Joy Bragg
We would like to introduce our newest addition to the Performing Arts staff, Kara Joy Bragg! She will graduate from Anderson University next month, and comes to us with a degree in Music Education, Vocal/Choral Emphasis, with minors in both Theatre and Dance. She will be overseeing the Choral Department, including MS and HS Chorus classes. She will also oversee MS Theatre including seasonal shows and the Jr. Thespian Troupe. Her vision for choral music and theatre will be a perfect fit for the growing needs of Performing Arts next school year and beyond.
Kara Joy is a TCS graduate, and her mom, Shannon, works in the High School. Please congratulate her when you see her on campus, she will be around some this May and then full time in the new school year.
Shuler Awards
On April 18th, we had the chance to attend the Shuler Hensley Awards at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta. Several of our students and faculty received recognition this evening, and those who attended had a marvelous time. Our Theatre Department continues to grow and thrive, and these awards each year will certainly be within our reach. Well done to all, we are so proud of what God is doing in each of your lives!

Music in the Parks
We just came back from our first HS Chamber Group out-of-state festival and competition. Our group performed at Music in the Parks in Charlotte, NC and then spent the day at Carowinds. It was such a fun experience, and the students performed at the top of their class! We took home two trophies, including best in category. Well done to all of our students - you made us proud in every way!

INSTRUMENT REPAIR
We use Big Note Music for on site repair of many of our musical instruments. If you have an instrument that needs repair as the school year begins, this may be a great option for you. The process works with you filling out an online form, pre-paying for the repair, and then they come for a scheduled repair session right on our Trinity campus. Your student wouldn’t be away from their instrument except when it’s on the repair table. This convenient option has worked for us for a few years now. Simply fill out the online form and let us know that a repair has been scheduled.
