Welcome Back!

We are fast approaching the new school year, and with it so many exciting aspects of Performing Arts! We have new faculty, new productions, and new opportunities for all of our students, and you don’t want to miss out!! Here are some of the highlights for you to consider:

Welcome Roger Beale, HS Chorus

Our new High School Chorus Teacher is Mr. Roger Beale.  We are so excited to bring him on board - he brings a wealth of vocal knowledge and networking that will serve our students well, from the casual vocalist all the way to the student who wishes to major in vocal music beyond their high school years.  He has been an Adjunct Professor of Music, Fine Arts, at Point University for over 20 years, teaching private voice lessons, vocal performance, conducting and pedagogy.  He also owns and runs The Voice House, PTC, a vocal training studio involved in the management and care of the professional singing voice.  There are still spots available in HS Chorus - let us know if you would like to add that to your schedule. We welcome to our team Mr. Roger Beale!

Introducing the Marching Lions

Our Drum Corps has been in existence for over two years now, and has brought such amazing excitement to our campus! We continue to grow, and are excited to announce the addition of our Pep Band and Color Guard. These additions create a larger group, the Marching Lions! We also will now travel to all away games. Friday nights will be a weekly highlight, for sure.

It’s not too late to get involved - let us know if you want to be part of the excitement!! This group performs in conjunction with the Varsity Football program and their game schedule. We also have Middle School opportunities.

Middle School Musical

This year we will have a musical dedicated to our Middle School Theatre students. We are so excited to offer this under the direction of Mrs. Emily Litton and other Performing Arts staff. We plan to audition and cast soon after the school year begins, and to perform in November before the Thanksgiving break. Keep an eye out for more details. This is going to be so much fun!!

Welcome Chris & Emily Litton

Two faces that are not strangers to Trinity, but have expanded their roles are Chris and Emily Litton. Chris joined our team in February full time as our new campus Audio/Video Engineer. He comes with a wealth of knowledge in all things tech, and has already been such an asset to the team! And Emily has been teaching Music and Theatre in our Pre School. Emily will continue her role in the Pre School, and will expand to direct the Elementary Drama Club, teach the Middle School Drama elective, and direct the Middle School musical in November. We are so excited to have this dynamic couple join us in more expanded roles!

New Students

We have quite a number of new students in all of our grades and schools. Many of you will come with an interest in the Arts. It’s not too late to add one or more of our Performing Arts classes to your schedule. Our staff members are ready to plug you in, and can’t wait to meet you! Please email Tim Hurt, Director if Performing Arts if you would like more information: tim.hurt@tcslions.org

We are so excited to jump back in, and can’t wait to see everyone again! Keep practicing, keep singing and acting, and pray for God’s best and His perfect plan as we take our musical journey together!
