A MESSAGE FROM MR. VINSON

Spirit Week is here, and it feels a little more special than the average year due to COVID! What a privilege to be at TCS where we have on-campus and virtual options to meet the needs of all our students. I’m so thankful to be a part of this ministry and for a headmaster who continues to lead us well during these challenging times. Let’s show our love for TCS together this week by showing our school spirit! Don’t forget about the Homecoming parade and football game on Friday too. We would love to see you all there!

LAST WEEK IN CHAPEL

Mr. Vinson taught a lesson titled “Treats for Tricks” and highlighted the call Jesus gives us in Matthew 5 to return good for evil by loving, serving and praying for our enemies. While this is hard to do at times, God desires for Christians to react differently than the world when it comes to people who try to hurt us. Rather than retaliating, we are called to love our enemies, just like God who loved and died for us while we were His enemies too.

NOVEMBER MEMORY VERSE: Romans 10:9-10 (ESV)

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

LIONS OF THE WEEK

Congratulations to the following students that were nominated by their teachers for making good choices or setting a good example recently.
