Events & Announcements

The GO Week experiences have provided us with so many opportunities to see the Lord’s hand at work and to be in the awe and wonder of His creation. We can truly say that we have tasted and seen the goodness, grace, mercy, faithfulness and love of the good Lord! Our prayer is to take these individual and shared experiences as we go forth each day and throughout this semester with the eyes of our hearts open to see HIM in all things. May we become even more aware of HIS presence and to experience the glory of HIS goodness.

Dates to keep in mind:

  • Monday 1/15 MLK schoolwide holiday

  • Regular Schedule Resumes Week of 1/16

Chapel Highlights

Our first chapel of 2024 started out with an amazing time of acoustic worship. We are so blessed to have such a broad range of talent among our students! A powerful chapel message was delivered by physics teacher, Tommy Stell. Thanks Mr. Stell for allowing God to use you to encourage students to tear down strongholds through the truth of God’s word as they begin a new year!

PE/Athletic Performance Class Uniform Update

Don’t forget that PE uniforms are available for purchase at the Roar Store.

The uniform will be required to wear for these classes for Semester II on or before 1/16/24. Any combination of the tops and bottoms will be approved, and there are both cold and warm weather options available for purchase.* Please note that students will not be allowed to participate in PE unless they are in the proper uniform. When students come to school without the correct uniform, the uniform pieces will be available for purchase in the school store with parent/guardian permission.

During the colder weather, students who have previously purchased spirit packs for sports will be permitted to wear these Trinity branded sweatshirts/outerwear and sweatpants/track pants in lieu of purchasing additional items.

CLASS OF 2024 GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS CHECK

The counseling department conducted a final audit of senior transcripts this past week in order to ensure all seniors have the required credits in order to graduate. Seniors who needed to adjust their schedule in order to receive the necessary credits have been notified via email. Seniors who still have questions about their transcript or credits needed for graduation should contact their grade level counselor.

FAILING GRADE NOTIFICATIONS

Any student who did not pass a class in semester one should have received notification from their grade level counselor on the next steps to make up that credit. If you did not receive notification, please reach out to your grade level counselor.

NEW SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Two new scholarship opportunities have been posted to the Paying for College - Scholarship Information sheet listed below in the Helpful Links section.

A $1,000 scholarship is being awarded from the Coweta Sports Hall of Fame and will be given specifically to a student-athlete at Trinity.

The second is from the Metro Atlanta Relocation Council. This $2,000 scholarship is for current high school seniors who have relocated into the Atlanta area over the course of their high school career.

See the document below for links to the applications and further information from each organization.
