MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

I hope each of you had a refreshing and meaningful Spring Break filled with time alongside family and friends. These moments of rest are a gift and I pray they have renewed both your spirit and your focus as we step back onto campus together.  As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I want to encourage both our students and our families to lean in, not just academically, but spiritually to what God is doing here at Trinity.  There is something special happening within our halls. We see it in our classrooms, in our chapels, in our small moments of prayer and in the way our students are growing, not just in knowledge, but in character and faith. I witnessed this growth first hand during our GO Week in Ireland with 25 students as did several of our Chaperones in other countries. This is not by accident. It is the result of a community choosing to pursue Christ together.

Scripture reminds us in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

This time of year can bring fatigue. The finish line is in sight, but the journey is not over. Now is the time to remain steadfast, to stay disciplined, to stay encouraged and to continue walking faithfully in what God has called each of us to do.

Parents, your partnership matters more than ever in this season. Continue to encourage your students, pray with them and remind them of their purpose.

Students, I challenge you to finish strong. Be intentional in your efforts, honorable in your choices and grounded in your faith. The way you finish matters.

At Trinity, we are not just counting down days, we are maximizing them. We are believing that God still has meaningful work to do in and through each of us before this year comes to a close.

Let’s lean in together.
