The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

As we begin to finish our parent/teacher conferences, I have been reflecting on how wonderful it is to have our families back on campus this year. I am so thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness as we navigated the pandemic together and have now been able to operate in a way that more resembles normalcy. Bringing our families on campus for conferences, birthday parties, holiday performances, lunch opportunities, volunteerism, and field trips has been such a blessing. Thank you for your partnership and support! This is our Trinity community! This is the Trinity Way!

Our Preschool Thanksgiving programs are just around the corner! I am so excited to offer a fun, new experience for our families! Our preschoolers will perform on stage in our High School Auditorium. Please stay after your child’s performance for a Fall celebration. We will have Fall themed games and an inflatable on the athletic field and will be providing family hayrides around the Trinity campus. The Not As Famous Cookie Company food truck will be here selling cookies, hot chocolate, ice cream, and more. Be sure to stop by our festive Fall display for a family photo! This event will be open from 5:00-8:00pm.

K3 Students (Byrom and Latimore) will perform at 5:00pm

K4 Students will divide into two performances:

  • 5:45 Spurgeon and Hickman

  • 6:30 Farr and Zarlenga

Picture Retake Day, November 8th

We are offering picture retakes for those who are interested or those who missed the first picture day. Remember that these pictures are for the yearbook. Picture retakes will be Monday, November 8th.

Operation Christmas Child

Be on the lookout for information coming home this week regarding Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. This is an awesome opportunity to serve others as we enter the holiday season. House points will be given out for all those who participate!

Last Week in Chapel

Pastor Kami continued our Chapel series about Thankfulness. This week’s emphasis was on Thanking God for the Gift of Salvation through His Son Jesus. Our Bible story was from Luke 7:36-50 about the woman who thanked Jesus for His great love and forgiveness by washing His feet with her tears and drying them with her hair. Our friends Kevin and Riley blessed us by leading a song of worship through song and drums.

Main Focus: God’s greatest gift is Jesus, and we want to have attitudes of gratitude toward Him.

Bible Verse: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done.” I Chronicles 16:8

Challenge: Remind your children of what Jesus has done for us and thank Him daily with your kids.

Blackbaud: Classroom Updates & Information

To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and will replace the hardcopy newsletter sent home in the past. I encourage you to login each week. We are excited for this new format! Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

Accessing your child's class information weekly:

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.
