The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

Our Preschool Thanksgiving programs are this Thursday, November 18th! I am so excited to offer a fun, new experience for our families! Our preschoolers will perform on stage in our High School Auditorium. Please stay after your child’s performance for a Fall celebration. We will have Fall themed games and an inflatable on the athletic field. A fun highlight will be family hayrides around the Trinity campus!! The Not As Famous Cookie Company food truck will be here selling cookies, hot chocolate, ice cream, and more. Be sure to stop by our festive Fall display for a family photo! This event will be open from 5:00-8:00pm.

K3 Students (Byrom and Latimore) will perform at 5:00pm

K4 Students will divide into two performances:

  • 5:45 Spurgeon and Hickman

  • 6:30 Farr and Zarlenga

Operation Christmas Child

Shoeboxes are due Wednesday, November 17th. This is an awesome opportunity to serve others as we enter the holiday season. House points will be given out for all those who participate!

Last Week in Chapel

Pastor Kami continued our Chapel series about Thankfulness. She also reminded everyone that our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes are due NEXT WEDNESDAY, November 17 in Chapel. This week’s emphasis was on Thanking God for blessing us. Our Bible story was from Luke 17:11-19 about the ten lepers who were healed by Jesus, but only one returned to give thanks to Him.

Main Focus: God has blessed every one of us richly. Every good thing we have comes from God.

Bible Verse: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done.” I Chronicles 16:8

Challenge:Counting our blessings is a good reminder of God’s love. Next time you or your child is feeling down, count your blessings. See how high you can count before you break into praise for all God has done.

Blackbaud: Classroom Updates & Information

To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and will replace the hardcopy newsletter sent home in the past. I encourage you to login each week. We are excited for this new format! Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.

Accessing your child's class information weekly:

  • Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".

  • Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.

  • After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.

  • Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.

The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.
